Well that was ****ing funny Phil....how'd you like them eggs?! Dai - how about 12 million for 4 Prem goals and 5 Europa goals to get us to the last 32 vs £11.5m (as reported today) for a big fat ZERO goals with half a season gone? ...and while we're at it; you've been very supportive of Malky Mackay and stated Tan was out of order for getting rid... yet you think "Jinks" should get rid of Laudrup for being higher in the table, last 32 of Europa, having spent a lot less money. Explain that one
£4 million for each and every goal as Europe don't count sod all as there is little money to be made unless you reach the final....we spend more travelling and hotels for everyone that will cost more for what we get in total. See i told you i know more about how football works than you will ever know..
You know **** all though Dai. £12m for his services over 4 years. At 24yrs old we will get at least a chunk of that back if we sell him in that period. He has scored goals in Czech Republic, scored plenty in Holland, scored in International football and has scored 10 so far in his first 4 months for us. 5 in European competition...and this when he has spent a large amount of time on the bench. Vs £11.5m for an unproven kid who has scored 0 goals on £45k a week who's only pedigree is 1 good season in Denmark. If he doesn't come good nobody is going to want to take that kid off their hands. As you haven't addressed the question I put to you everyone will probably assume that even you can't defend the senseless bollocks you post anymore
Prize money[edit] Europa League monies. Similar to the UEFA Champions League, the prize money received by the clubs is divided into fixed payments based on participation and results, and variable amounts that depend of the value of their TV market.[13] A group stage participation in the Europa League awards a base fee of €1.3 million. A victory in the group pays €200,000 and a draw €100,000. Also, each group winner earns €400,000 and each runner-up €200,000. Reaching the knock-out stage triggers additional bonuses: €200,000 for the round of 32, €350,000 for the round of 16, €450,000 for the quarter-finals and €1 million for the semi-finals. The losing finalists receive €2.5 million and the champions get €5 million.[14] First qualifying round: €120,000 Second qualifying round: €130,000 Third qualifying round: €140,000 Play-off round elimination: €150,000 Base fee for group stage: €1,300,000 Group match victory: €200,000 Group match draw: €100,000 Group winners: €400,000 Group runners-up: €200,000 Round of 32: €200,000 Round of 16: €350,000 Quarter-finals: €450,000 Semi-finals: €1,000,000 Losing finalist: €2,500,000 Winners: €5,000,000 Well I make it 2.44m if we go out next round not too bad.
we don't make sod all in the stages of Europe that we participate in as it gets swallowed up with what it costs to play...you cant tell me about Europe that's for sure. the only winners will be the last 4 and the rest will make hardly anything..I know.... and thats the real football knowledge..
Dai you said that we won't cover our costs during the group stages, now you say we won't make money make you mind up.
Do you really believe this stuff you write? You think he'll be here 4 years? You think we'll get our money back? Walt Disney are looking for new script writer's, give them a bell!................
Knackered Your a nuisance. If you can't start saying clever things then don't post. I can't understand half you write, actually you might have written something clever in that case, however the half I can read is total bo---ll---cks..... please log in to view this image
You can't understand what I write Plastic Phil because I don't speak fluent monkey. Note to self: Get one of those Linguaphone things in monkey talk.
please log in to view this image ...And on that note, it's good night from him, and good night from me!.........
Its common knowledge in football that there is not much money to be made in european football but a halfwit like kangaroo is excused for not knowing that. awe bless his cotton socks.........I thought he had me on ignore anyway..
You are clearly not very bright. He is contracted for 4/5 years. During that time if he or us want him gone there will be a transfer fee involved. We got £5.5m for Danny Graham. Compare their CVs and potential. If he has 1 season where he scores 20ish Prem goals we'll probably make money. If he scores 10-12 goals in the league and several cup goals (as he is on course to do this year) every year for 4 years we will have got our money's worth and then some. ...by the way, Borini's setting the Prem alight isn't he? Watch a lot of Disney films do you Plastic Phil? That explains why you throw your toys out of the pram at the 1st opportunity. All together now; You only sing when you're winning, sing when you're winning.....
Dai - You said we hadn't won enough money in the Europa so far too cover our costs. 'Never' has put the figures up and proved in black and white that we have. Wrong weren't you? Now, explain once again...why should Malky have stayed and Laudrup should go despite having spent less than Malky and having achieved more? Use your superior football knowledge and enlighten us why don't you
Post #52 relates to the fact that at the time of you deriding the wasted £8 Million that Cardiff paid for Cornelius, who had scored 0, we had at the time a 12 Million striker that had scored just 4 Premier League goals, hence the glass house point I made, I was merely pointing out you had no freeness of speech to mouth off, when Bony hadn't at the time fired up, but clearly it's lost on you. Would you like me to pull out some of my posts stating that it would take at least half a season for bony to bed in? And would you like me to pull out my previous posts saying that he will do well second half of the season, not to mention that I predicted that he will be good for 15 goals (premiership) no I'm sure you wouldn't, but easy to take things out of context!..................
