The writing is on the wall....As each game passes we are getting worst. No fight, No passion, Plenty of possession, No end results, tactics obviously wrong, and a clueless manager who left key players on the bench and one who he let go on loan who scored the winner away against a team that walked all over us in terms of skill and game plan ...Everton....we are just 4 points from relegation and a gap opening up above us. we were 1 point behind man utd a couple of games ago and now we are 11pts......yes fellow jacks the writing is well and firmly on the wall...
Must have seen a different game to me Morineo looked a very worried man second half !!!

The bottom 3 at the start of today all won away from home. We are only 4 points above the relegation zone and our leading / best goal scorer is out for 6 weeks. After Saturday, we face City, United and Spurs in our next 3 PL games.

We have lost four in the last ten league games. Two in the last five. Those below us are fairing worse. Losing four in ten, and two in five is not relegation form. It is mid table form which is where we are and where we should expect to be. The only thing that is written on the wall is not relegation as Dai thinks, it is Dai losing his cash to the book makers yet again.

He was only worried, because Chelsea were huffing and puffing to finish us off, had that been Man City we would have conceded a shed full, we are well and truly riding our luck this season, and unless we bring someone in to give us the cutting edge in front of goal, then we will never finish this season anywhere near the top 10!....................<ok>

PS: Matter of fact relegation cannot be ruled out at this stage, and with our current form, and tactics!

We have taken 10 points from the last 10 games. We have taken 5 points from the last 5 games. That is a point a game = 38 in a season. Not mid table form. 17th last season

What concerns me is the way we tail off in seasons at the business end, we have done this since being promoted, and that could be deadly this season!..........<ok>

The worry for me is that I don't think the players are following instructions, or playing the way ML wants them to play. He looked absolutely beyond frustrated toward the end as we passed it sideways, backwards and not forward. Even the commentators seemed bemused by what we were doing. We needed a player to take the game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example.....it didn't happen.

Did we expect to win today ? a point would have been nice , 3 I'd have been ecstatic .Flood the midfield to try and nullify their threat which to a certain extent worked for us today, yes they were the more threatening (as would be expected) they pressed high and could have scored more , but the thing is they didn't and scored a goal which our captain played apart in , perhaps Tremmel could or should have done better who knows he was momentarily unsighted by Ash's movement across him.We are toothless at the moment with leaderless team imo. no urgency with some very odd decision making by the players .The squad is strong and good enough(with some exceptions imo ) to compete but to go away atm to Stamford Bridge with the expectation to win is unrealistic , everyone fit and on top of their game then maybe , but we have a very young squad of players who may or may not prove to be good enough at this level ,personally I think so but it's whether we give them time to develop.

Currently I'm watching Citeh & liverpool in a very entertaining game but one thing which is apparent is that regardless of the quality on the pitch tonight every player on the pitch has made mistakes and as an exercise if you're bored add up the combined value of each squad.Unless we are sold by the board to another evil foreign buyer comes knocking then we 'd better accept atm that we're going to have periods like this .

I was expecting us to get stuffed so although I haven't seen the game I'll take the 1-0.

I don't honestly expect a stuffing from any side , we're a couple of players short atm of regaining our cutting edge , Routledge this season has been huge disappointment ,I really thought he would kick on from last year but for what ever reason he hasn't , Poz has gone backwards recently and can't seem to get the basics right .Maybe we were too reliant on Michu last year and now the players have to step up to the plate , there are encouraging signs with Amat playing well and could well become established ,Taylor getting back to his previous form & Shelvey showing consistency so if we could find that cutting edge in front of goal and we'll be back . I would expect one man and his dog can see what we're lacking so would the board /manager so hopefully some movement in the january window ( as much as I dislike it ,needs must)

I remember reading in the summer that someone posted on here that he wanted to move back to London etc. if we can buy a new winger in January, I'd move him on to get funds for a new striker. Looks like a shadow of the player from last year.

Yes I agree - routledge poor again today. I predict a bloodbath on here if we don't get something v Villa.

Good to see Dragon back. <ok>

But where's Jack Sparrow? <whistle>

Feel sorry for the teams below us then because they are not getting a point a game like us.

I'm happy with the club and players we have, it's the performances on the pitch I have a problem with.

Spot on..<ok> When are you Laudrup supporters going to wake up and smell the coffee?? you come on here every week defending him while i and a few others point out what is wrong and it is me who is nearly always right.....How you can support laudrups game plan, tactics and team selection every week and nearly every week we look like a championship side, I dont get it!!......Ill say it again We have the players, the players have the know how and ability as we use to match and beat these sides but now anyone can play us home or away and they will be assured a result. What was leaving our main scorer on the bench all about? and if you take a look he leaves him out whenever we are playing a big side ....We are just 4 points away from a relegation spot and the ones ahead of us have opened up a gap and with the players we have we should be up there with them. Well until you realize that it is laudrups fault that we are where we are then our 4 point cushion will be wiped out in no time you mark my words and even though im quitting going to see them from next season i really dont want them to go down and thats where we are heading very fast if laudrup dont buck up and stop being stubborn and stop the high possession with little or no result. Its so sad to see all the good work that has been done by past managers being ruined by a manager not up to playing our way and never will do..

Are you suggesting that it's "Taxi for Laudrup" time, Dai?
