I seen that. ****ing ridiculous.

What is the world coming to??!!??!!??!!

Imagine the beel if you refused to be served by someone in a hijab...

I just don't care.

Must say I agree Mick (though obviously I must do to a degree as i'm responding <laugh>). Non story for me as they allow Jews to take off Saturdays and christians to take off Sundays if they wish so it's an employer trying to accommodate the religious beliefs of all and not just a few.

So if you've queued at a till and they are putting through your shopping but refuse to proceed with certain items, what do you do? Knowing your sort: meekly apologise for offending them then queue again at a different till.

Ah **** off with your "your sort" Stopme - you know nothing about me. If I'm in M&S and buying anything like that I simply won't go to a checkout with a Muslim on it.

I'll go to the Muslim on purpose...

Don't want to handle pork or booze, don't work in retail...

And if they refuse to serve me, I'll kick up a fuss and embarrass them ...

If I'm buying a bottle of wine then no probably not.

I do a weekly shop, there is always alcohol in my trolley and almost certainly some form of pig meat. This idea that I should only go to tills where I can be fairly certain that the cashier is non-muslim (i.e. white) seems ridiculous and unworkable.

I'm thinking of targetting the non-whites and if they refuse to serve, abandon that trolley and go round again and back to the same cashier and so on. This won't last.

It's a racist policy...many Muslims are white, so how would th public know what till to use in order to not waste their time ?

Make the server wear an armband?

Intetestingly or not: Toby, a vegetarian, objected to this post. Care to explain why?

I'd rather no meat was eaten, i won't pick and choose depending on if it's the kind brown people eat, i'm not a xenophobic ****wit like you <ok>

So you want all meat banned.

In the real world we have laws to ensure that animals are killed for meat with a minimum of suffering. Certain religious cults are allowed to bypass this rule and slaughter animals in barbaric rituals. Objecting to this apparently makes me xenophobic. That's coming from Not606's armchair animal rights "activist".
