Talking about their 'quality of life'/'humane death' is the ****ty excuse middle class people come up with to feel better about murdering animals and eating them.
I do my bit without throwing buckets of red pain on peeps and digging up grannies.
Not digging anyone out here but in my quarry I never sell stones larger than pebble-size to anyone. Cut off the supply, no one will die.

Must say I agree Mick (though obviously I must do to a degree as i'm responding). Non story for me as they allow Jews to take off Saturdays and christians to take off Sundays if they wish so it's an employer trying to accommodate the religious beliefs of all and not just a few.
Someone taking a particular day off because of their religious beliefs is hardly the same as waiting in line to pay for your goods, only to be told that the cashier will refuse to serve you.
If anyone is offended by the goods sold in the shop, they simply shouldn't be working there in the first place.
FFs its covered in plastic/Glass/Metal. They dont really handle/touch the ****in stuff, and if they don't want to handle a plastic covered packet, then they should **** off back from whence they came, or if born here go somewhere where their beliefs are adhered to. ****in Muslims are ruining our way of life with their petty wants and not wants, **** em I say.
Meh, views change with time, one day everyone will see it differently. You lot will be derided as backwards *****s by future generations.

As long as the self service scanner machines don't take offense at my bacon (and copious amounts of alcohol) I'm ok. I'm yet to come across a radical Muslim idiot who won't serve me in a shop, and if such a day comes I'll be sure to give it as much theoretical outrage as that which is theoretically shown on here.
My local corner shop is owned by rag heads, & very nice chaps they are too. They seem happy enough to sell me bacon. That comes from pigs, does it not?
Do your shopping before the legal time to sell alcohol and shop in your local butcher for your pigmeats.Everyone is a winner,simple
Same here, the local paki stani corner shop will sell you ****ing anything they don't give a **** about morality where money is concerned. Plus they open on christmas day which is handy if you forgot anything.

So if you've queued at a till and they are putting through your shopping but refuse to proceed with certain items, what do you do? Knowing your sort: meekly apologise for offending them then queue again at a different till.
Leave all my shopping at the till and go to ASDA
I find it easiest At M&S when purchasing pork to simply avoid the muslim and Jewish queues. I recommend the Pagan queue, with pork being sacred to both Thor and Cerridwen there is no over the counter embarrassment for the seller or customer. Cider, beer, John Barleycorn and all. Shop in the pagan queue you know it makes sense this Yuletide.
