Why pick out JDG when he wasn't to blame for either goal? His link up play with Shelvey was decent and he put in some good crosses. Davies and Tremmel conspired for the goals so I suggest you direct your ire in their direction.Keep calm, girls. Dai's glass is always half empty.
JDG had a decent game. He defended quite well too. Only on one occasion did he lose the ball and failed to track back but you've picked up on that. Hernandez was busy all afternoon and kept trying and trying until the final whistle. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. You have to give credit to Everton who pressed us all game and defended well.
As I've said, slagging off your favourite pantomine villains is always predictable after a loss but our fans need to see the bigger picture. Both goals that we conceded were avoidable. I don't hear anyone criticising Ben Davies who made a completely unnecessary challenge for the free kick. Nobody criticises him because it's easier to zero on the players you don't like - even if they did little wrong.
The real villains today were Tremmel who was woeful today and Vasquez who makes Schechter look like Messi.
Did anyone else? Why pick out JDG when he wasn't to blame for either goal? His link up play with Shelvey was decent and he put in some good crosses. Davies and Tremmel conspired for the goals so I suggest you direct your ire in their direction.
He's the creator. How many chances did he create?
Best team won by a country mile and the score flattered us. Martinez today showed laudrup how to use his players to win games, Laudrup just don't have a clue and another home game where we had the majority of possession and have less shots on target..I cannot wait until he goes as his record is pathetic and is being shown up by other managers on a much too regular basis......time to go all the excuses have been exhausted...
We lost 3-0 when Brendan was in charge.
Unbelievable..

De Guzman is a luxury we can do without in the second half of the season, how the hell we have him now compared to Joe Allen, makes you think? Laudrup has not addressed our front line strategy all season, or got our players to hit the target?
I had us down for a 2-1 defeat, but man if we had decent players to our front line, we could easily have won that game! Are we the Premier league charity for front line basket cases?...................![]()
Rubbish. Two excellent strikes coupled with poor goalkeeping cost us today. Up until them we defended pretty well and Howard had to make two superb saves at the end.
No need to panic just yet.
But dragon this is my point we do have decent players and much stronger than we have ever been, Its not the players its like i always say its the way laudrup plays his football......Its no good for a team like us and until we go back to playing like we use to play then we will only throw up the odd win here and there which is not good enough. Laudrup needs lessons from martinez and rodgers and take note because with the games we have coming up then we are heading for one of the relegation spots early in the new year and that is the most dangerous place to be at this time of the season.....We have the players ...we don't have the right manager to motivate or play the type of football that got us to the premiership in the first place....
