Can someone explain why the BBC asked the Northern Irish manager of Liverpool for his opinion regarding Vincent Tan and Malky McKay at Cardiff, in a story I hasten to add was utterly incorrect as it implied McKay had been sacked when in fact Tan is in talks with McKay right now?

It was initially called "Sportsnight with Coleman". Mention of Harry Carpenter reminds me when David Coleman was introducing some boxing and said "and Harry Commentator is your carpenter". .
