<laugh> it's like a military operation! Off to see my nieces in their church nativity this afternoon - my brother's house has been like a nunnery this week with no sound other than that of carols being sung.

Guys if you have not seen it already please check out the petition thead. Richard 'Shorty' Short is having his hours cut in half and being made to share his duties with someone with half the passion and talent for the job. Please take the 2 minutes it takes to sign the petition and keep Shorty where he belongs. He has served WFC for 16 years and bleeds Watford as much as GT lets not let him be treated this way.

My dad used to say "always make sure you have the last word - even if it is "yes dear""

It's no good putting your foot down if you haven't a leg to stand on! <yikes>

Cheers Yorkie. Shorty is the guy who does the "ENJOOOOOOOYYYYY THE GAME" and "ENJOOOOYYY THE SECOND HALF" as well as announces the first names for us to shout the surnames.

Out to lunch with friends today and on the way home was stopped for a random breath check. Glad to say I got the green light, but if I had had that other glass of wine....!

Tomorrow I will be chasing goods that should have arrived by carrier, but the driver claimed wrong address and returned them to the depot. Seems to be a common problem out here as there are many complaints on internet sites. This time I think the driver has got it wrong as my parcels were tracked and he could not have picked them up and returned them in the time. Just wastes my time waiting for them. Other things I ordered at the start of November have not arrived from England. After several phone calls they finally admitted that they had lost my order and would attend to it straight away. Think they may have lost it again. <steam>

Dark and -8C. Bad week end in every way. Watford lost, I went to a party which was horrible and the computer said no for my house loan, all I want is a new deal with smaller payments and I do not earn enough. How did I get the loan the first time then with the same computer? And I spent most of sunday in bed ill with a cold in my head. I have not felt as ill for a long time, like I was hit at the top of the nose with a hammer and a with sore neck.
