I watched Archer once. It was about as funny as being sick.

Mind you, I still prefer Darcy Bussell:

I don't watch Strictly, but if she started doing this sort of thing more often I might have to.

Must admit, I have the entire first season downloaded. I'm just waiting to find someone who wants it or I ditch it. It's more or less unfunny to me [note, to me]. The humour is based on a stance or a posture that Archer sets himself with before revealing what an idiot he is. Or he does it to someone else, but it's mainly him. Very superficial and very American formula, going way back to the 1960's, typically Rowan & Martin Laugh-In. I don't hate it, I'm just [what's the saying..?] a bit meh with it.

I bet the good Christian girls are probably the most kinky.

Meh, I wouldn't count on any acknowledgement either way. I'll keep plugging though but I definitely won't be putting in any more money for paid advertising.

Sometimes when refereeing I can't believe the behaviour of kids on the football field. This was the case today when I was refereeing an U15's match. Someone threw a punch and seemed to think he was only getting a yellow card! When I sent him off he refused to walk off and squared up to an opposing player and called him a ****. He will soon regret that when The Hampshire FA have processed my report.

Perhaps if we didn't use the language of swearing, the younger ones wouldn't, though I think the cat is very much out of the bag now. At least he didn't say Belgium.

The best way to solve the problem of kids swearing at this point is to just stop acting like the words are so bad. They're just not.

Yes, there is that. It's all about context after all. Which is why Belgium is so bad when uttered by the man with two heads.

What..? Another, another..? One died yesterday. Are you saying yet another has died..?

Part of the reason I ask is that the Construction Workers Union in Brazil are right on the point of striking, due to being hounded into working too fast and for too long, and safety is being dangerously compromised.

It's not that that annoyed me - it was the refusal to walk when I sent him off. He just ignored me when I showed him the red card.
