I can't wait for a 25 yard screamer from him now.

2 tough wins on the bounce away from home, the team looks a bit more confident and with the injuries to pool, we will run the midfield...

    Spurs 2-1 Pool.

    Chadli, Soldado.

I think it's hoped Vlad and Rose will be back by then. So Walker, Dawson, Vlad, Rose could be argued as our best back 4? Not necessarily mine, but decent all the same.

yeah thats a good back 4, but how ready is Rose after so long out with a teeny tiny toe injury? And Vlad for that matter? Although you'd hope Vlad still had his fitness as not been out long so just a case of whether injury is fully gone

Right time to bite the bullet. Quite an open game I reckon: Spurs 3 - 1 Liverpool - Soldado, Paulinho & Townsend (late on)

    This Ole Scouse
with apologies to Stuart Hamblin, who wrote This Ole House, and to Rosemary Clooney, Shakin’ Stevens et al who sang it

This Ole Scouse team once were champions
This Ole Scouse team used to win
This Ole Scouse team played good football
And they played it with a grin.
This Ole Scouse team once had Keegan :afro:
This Ole Scouse team once had Kuyt -
Now they tremble in a panic
    When Paulinho runs about. <yikes>

    CHORUS –
But, we ain't gonna lose to the Scouse no longer
Ain't gonna lose to the Scouse no more
We got time to fix Coutinho -
Sandro just won’t let him score! :emoticon-0165-muscl
We got time to stop the Sturridge
And to win at White Hart Lane
Ain't gonna lose to the Scouse no longer -
AND we’re gettin' ready to beat the Saints [as well!!!].

This Ole Scouse team’s gettin' shaky,
This Ole Scouse team’s gettin' old,
This Ole Scouse team can’t stop Townsend
When he scores the second goal!
On his knees Suarez is pleading
And pretends to be in pain -
    But there’s a Holtby through-ball
And Defoe will score again. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Prediction: Spurs 3 Liverpool 0
Scorers: Defoe 2 & Townsend (if they both get on the pitch!)

    <party><party><party>

    Cheers, Spurf! <cheers>

This song will serve also as a warning to Southampton (we’re getting ready to beat the Saints) so no separate song for them, but a prediction in due course……
well, a guy’s got to find time to write his Christmas cards!
