Rodgers praised Wet Spam for their battling qualities in his post match interview, but Fat Arse as usual never has a good word for us.

MANAGER REACTION - Liverpool 4-1 West Ham
    West Ham boss Sam Allarydce
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce: "The sickener for us was the way we conceded the first goal. We gave it a good go, but then the third goal killed us off. Nothing seems to be going for us at the moment."

Apart from us missing about twelve open goals.... the jughead's chutzpah is unbelievable.

Forgot to mention Mignolet - made a world class shave today which could have ultimately changed the course of the game.

    Fantastic signing for us <ok>

Finally, there was a period when Gerrard went off (or just before that) and West Ham's goal where we completely dominated. The pressing, the aggression and the quality - relentless. <ok>

We got him at a good time. Feel sorry for the bugger though. Not many, if any, that he has conceded have been his fault. <ok>

I thought we were bloody weak.... I thought we saw a woeful west ham side stay i nthe game then get great encouragement off our panic and we then nearly blew it.

why? we have too many f'n donkeys i nthe team who can't pass without taking 3 touches. our passing was very poor but the movement wasn't too bad. we simply must improve the technique on show to one and two touch passing and speed the game up with thought and skill not running.

who are the donkeys? skertl.. god almighty if mingolet rolled it to him one more time i was reaching for my axe.... flanagan, henderson, sahko... in many ways i feel we need more coutinho's and less of these guys who run and run but get nowhere.

Mingolet? meh... reina would be making us a LOT better. I went absoletely apeshit crazy at him for rooting himsel to the spot when a baloon of a ball dropped on the six yard box in the second half. he commands nothing, is really weak on the ground and needs to step it up a bit for me.

Skertl... F'n donkey. I cannot believe the weakest player by a mile is undroppable. every team is now letting mingolet roll it to him or vice versa and waiting to pick up the inevitable peices.

Flanangan... our left side was completely gone today. not helped by sterling and henderson but still. showing someone the outside? what the F!

Henderson.. yeah run by all means but if you need 3 touches to pass it back you are pointless. so narrow it actually hurt.

Sterling. a bit better than a while back as he did try to be positive but he's got to think more about what he's going to do with it and yes continue to make the runs into the box but for chuffs sake get it on target or a bit of power.

Anyway..... if not for suarez and all that.... next game is away. I don;t think we've any confidence away and don;t change our game plan in the right way. it'll be a long game i feel.

who says Mig's distribution is poor?

Collected a corner and throws it out 60 yards on the run to Sterling. And that's a brilliant save from the header

    Is MITO morphing into MFG?

Whilst I'm at it. Who was the commentator on MOTD? thought he was more than a little disparaging. Strange that they managed to edit out even a suggestion of our periods of total domination.

Caught the game via the streams.. it appeared from the MoTD highlights its was an even game, when it was far from it, from about the 25thmin until they we're gifted a goal from Skrtel, (as you rightfully say) we were all over them.
The media bias is to be expected, quite glad we're flying under the radar, long may it continue!

jonny is right, it was not even at all. we were in large part in control in the first half and missed a lot of chances... then we came out second half as i'd wish but then we panicked, fell apart (not for the first time) and frankly its annoying to see. we gave them all the encouragement in the world to have a go and it could well have been 2-2 before everything went our way.

however if you watch the game back you'll see examples of mingolet making bad "passes" totally aimless kick outs etc. the guy is not great i have to call a spade a spade. Him rooted to the spot on the line while a ball drops with snow on it in his six yard area... i went mad. There is a HUGE difference with a keeper throwing a ball and passing from feet. he is distinctly average on the ground and that's even acknowledging him making a fool of davies. I wish he could pick up ever pass and throw it. Its exacerbated by the fact he then virtually always passes short to skertl who is f'n useless on the ball.

as for that stupidity in midfield nearly gifting them a goal on two occasions... grrrr

i just want a controlled display for once.

I still reckon rodgers was shaking his head watching suarez bury another goal v norwich wondering where the hell were these goals when he needed them v hull.

    ..........

and anyway MFG just slated rodgers in favour of kenny. I merely want to see us on top of the league looking value for it. This was a handy result but its still not good enough as a display is it? I just want more coutinho's and suarez's on the pitch thats all. you can keep your skertls and henderson's at this point. Bayern have players all over the pitch who are technically excellent we need to improve and get more of the technical players rodgers "says" he wants.

look at the gash utd served up early in the game. crying out for control and they stick their one half decent kid out wide and kagawa was out. result... no control... no confidence (chortle) 8th.
