Big days racing ahead tomorrow coming from Aintree, Sandown, Wetherby, Chepstow and Wolverhampton in the UK and Navan here in Ireland. One that jumps out at me is Lieutenant Miller 1.00 4/1. Nobody could be too confident on McCains one as favourite after it's last run anyway and I've always been a big of Ponsonby's In the Becher Chase I've gone for Across the bay e/w 12/1 A man once told me not to back Sam Twiston Davies unless he was riding over 3 miles at least and I have paid heed so far and have done alright from it so I will definitely not be passing up on Unioniste 3/1 in the Listed Chase at 2.40. Think I'll double this one with Willie Mullins Gitane Du Berlais earlier in the day. Don't even know where to begin with Sandown. After a quick look it's going to be taquin du seuil 3/1 ,upswing 11/2 and Tigresse Bleue 4/1. Decent sized bet on Tigresse Bleue ! Good Luck all!
lots of competitive racing tommorrow, in the becher chase i'm going to take a chance on Rose of the Moon--goes well fresh, will like the track, j greenall in da plate--what more do you want ! At chepstow Mountainous in the 200 catches my eye--and at wetherby Pas trop Tard in the 2 15 will have a better chance than most. good luck all !
Really fancy PROBLEMA TIC to get back to winning ways in the 1 20 Sandown tomorrow, huge price as well @ 40s so I've gone e/w. Will post couple more in the morning
These are my arrows for tomorrow. Aintree 2-05 Join Together 2-40 Wayward Prince 3-15 Dunowen Point Sandown 12-50 Scholastica 1-50 Balder Succes 2-25 Deep Trouble 3-00 Captain Conan 3-35 Buddy Bolero For me Join Together ticks all the boxes for the very tricky Becher Chase, Dunowen Point in the Sefton looks to have a good chance if fit, while over at Sanders, I'm taking Hendo to have a nice consolation for Sprinter's absence with the very able Captain Conan. In the marathon, Buddy Bolero looks to be custom made for this, and although current fav at 11-2, I think that will prove to be value at around 3-45 tomorrow. The one non-televised race, the 12-50 at Sanders has a wide open look to it, but I'm taking Scholastica to go in again, he won well last time, and although there is a significant weight disadvantage with Home Run, the way he won suggests he won by more than the uplift. I'm also going to give Wayward Prince a chance to show his recent second to Harry Topper was an indication of a return to his best form. Good luck lads
14.05 Aintree- Baby Run- 20/1 e/w Bit of a lottery I know, but am a big fan of this horse and really think he has a decent chance tomorrow. Despite a long absence of 959 days, there is plenty to like about the chances. He's always gone extremely well fresh, The stable knows how to win this race having won the Becher Chase five times previously, including two of the last three renewals with Hello Bud. Baby run maybe 13 now but that doesnt worry me, Hello Bud won it last year at the age of 14. Another positive is his prominent style of racing and bold jumping, a combination that works well over the National fences and if you tend to stay out of the trouble that can often be the scourge of a hold-up horse around here. He is obviously the stables National Horse this year and a good performance here will put him in good steed for next april
2.05 Aintree Rose Of The Moon 33/1 2.05 Aintree Storm Survivor 25/1 2.25 Sandown Milord 12/1 2.25 Sandown Whitby Jack 16/1 3.15 Aintree Stormin Exit 16/1 The form on Whitby Jack is superlative !
Wooly haha - cheers Tack - follow him every week and his website isn't updated at the moment - by the way were did u get them from mate ?
second hand info by text from a friend - look at the tips in case something stands out but don't really put too much store in them - the only two that " may" place tomorrow are Storm Survivor and Milord and both races look tough for them - can't follow the Whitby Jack selection as recent form is poor - unless he knows something we don't
Sound Investment 1.00 Aintree Calculated Risk. 2.25 Sandown. Both backable at E/W prices and go well. Heard Homer Run has come out of his last race well and connections are going to get him out again fairly quickly. Paddy Brennan reckons he can win again off revised mark.
**** me..triple wicket maiden. FO broad mind you..little ****. I would have played Bairstow in place of Prior with the gloves in this match...no probs with playing 2 spinners, that was a good play given how Warne mopped us up in 2006. These teams are tight in so many areas,Australia has a superior captain in all aspects of the game. That is the difference.
Feel for Bell...such an elegant player and left with the numpties...lets play a ginger nobody because he might get 20 runs...wrong! We used to play Giles because "he could bat" (and he couldn't) to get a result. Arse.
**** me..just cleared upo Anderson..this is fast bowling of the highest order...West Indian 80's like
MJ ..genuine fast bowling...love it. Anyone who loves cricket has to agree...thought the guy was dead and buried a few series ago..respect.
