I'm going to assume PNP deleted his own post?
No, but it appears to have entered some sort of time lapse and been bumped down a page, somehow. Weird.
Is he dead? Why didn't someone, or the media, say something earlier?

Although a great man, don't forget the armed violence he championed. As we saw after his release, non-violence stopped the apartheid.

Back to football.I was glad to see photos of Mike England and Alan Gilzean as they were inducted into the Spurs hall of fame.
To those who never saw them...a couple of great players.
Gilly! I can still see him turning his defender into knots and seemingly always winning those headers against anyone.
Mike.!Big old center half could, usually, take care of any center forward. But sometimes seemed to get bored playing the Blackpools and Boltons of those days...
My favourite memory of England was when Derrick Dougan of Wolves deliberately injured Cliff Jones.Mike went looking for him and was continually kicking the Doug up in the air!!!!!
Alan, like Greaves,a class act.So many memories but my favourite was beating Yeats of Liverpool in the air to score a brilliant headed goal.Jim also scored with a header in that game...and that was a surprise!
Great to see photos of the pair and wish them good health for the future!!!!!!...not sure if Gilly still likes a drink.......?
Remember The Gillies song to the tune of Noel, Noel:
Gilzean, Gilzean, Gilzean, Gilzean,
Born is the King of White Hart Lane
You could really belt that one out! Sounded great. The chorus to the The First Noel was never the same after that........
Sadly the fans these days prefer to sing "stand up if you hate Arsenal" than songs in praise of our players.
