If Root has to face the new ball, which he will with our current openers, then I don't think he'll even make 30 runs
He's got to face the second new ball batting at six anyway so it makes no odds. This will come down to how much we handle their endless ****, which I think we will. Player for player we're way better, reagrdless of the last test. Johnson is a one day bowler, he really should be cannon fodder in the test arena as he simply is not that good. Ryan Harris is twice the bowler. Our batsmen got wrapped up in all the short ball ****e last time and ****ed up, the really should be handling it better. The likes of Cook, Bell and Pietersen should treat Johnson with contempt.
I'm going to stay up for it after the Reds game so we better start well or I'm gonna smash me telly up
Think it's on SS2. I will watch on my lappy though (so should probably have said I'll smash the lappy up rather than the telly). You still not got wi-fi at home ya fookin' caveman??
I've got broadband. Just no laptop. I need to get a new one, but I don't want to pay the lump sum. I can do it on the drip at PC World. Where else gives a better deal and can it be done on the drip?
Cash Converters My mate got a 12 month old HP lappy for his lads birthday about £200 and it was a £600 one new......take advantage of others misfortune
Important toss to win - bat first and get runs on the board. Adelaide is a good batting wicket but will turn on the last day for Swann (or Lyon)
Aye, bat first but for phucks sake, the batsmen need to put a score on the board that our guys can bowl to. Min. 400-450 in the first innings is required. Losing this test match is not an option, would like to hit back, and hard, straight away!
