And still the point scoring goes on....
"well he started it, he's calling me a hooligan now etc"
I told you to expect a reaction from Allam.
He ups the ante every time.
Now to the bravado's who say "I don't care if he does sell up, its my club" or "we are far more attractive to an investor now" think about what the more likely outcome will be.
A further show of defiance today, will see a reaction tomorrow as promised.
He will announce the club is up for sale and he will not spend one more penny.
There will then be weeks of non-activity as surprisingly there are no credible investors willing to buy him out.
Which well then prompt the January fire sale. After all, if you a player and you see this uncertainty going on, and you face the prospect of being stuck in a team in 12 months time, who can't pay your contract...what would you do?
So before the hurt and offended react at today's match...expect that reaction to be met with a sad farewell to Hudds, Chester, Aluko, Davies and McGregor in January.
It's your call. Yes it is blackmail but this is now your choice.
He is a man as good as his word. Yes it's a generational thing. Yes its a cultural thing. But there is no way to keep the name AND keep the club in the top flight.
The No to Hull Tigers campaign have already stated many times that it should be peaceful protest. How many times do they have to say the banner tussle was individual supporters and the banner was not a CTWD banner. The only protest they have initiated is a flag being passed over peoples head to the halfway point of the East Stand. This was done without any bother at all. The other protest is to sing City till I Die. How the hell can anyone call that offensive of inflaming a situation. I just despair of some people on this board. You want us just to roll over and accept the club to have a different name. Have you seen how naff Hull Tigers looks, now ridiculous it will look on kit etc. If you think Allam will be happy with that you are wrong. He is unstable and will inflict all sorts of damage to the club, what other crazy ideas does he have. When this one fails to bring in investment what else will he do. I honestly think people come on here just to oppose the CTWD campaign and really don't care about anything but the wind up.
