Somebody I know is working the game on Sunday on the segregation line between the home and away fans in the north stand. They've been told by their higher ups that there may be a pitch invasion in the 19th minute.

First I've heard?

there will not be a pitch invasion

other than ****s in the red shorts

If you're going to do that, best run on from the North stand, You'll just be ushered back into the stand unless you're very unlucky. Most away fans get away with it.

It would be stupid and I can't see anyone condoning that no matter what their view. I have not heard anything about it.

It's first I've heard and I certainly won't be involved. It's pretty ridiculous. The stewards have obviously got the rumour from somewhere though.

Christmas is coming, Black Friday has been and gone, how else are Humberside Police going to boost their Dec pay packets and make the downpayment on that trip to Florida?

They will read the forums for this stuff. That dazed guy who now posts as simply '...' said the other day he reckoned there was going to be one, but everything else he posted was wrong so I doubt it. He also said he'd seen this mentioned on CI. I'd be surprised is the relevant authorities haven't picked up on those posts.

Dear Club, I know you'll read this.

My one year old daughter has asked santa that the club remain called Hull City AFC for Christmas. She even wrote a letter that, granted, is more a collage of multicoloured squiggles, but she went through so much effort to ask, so I hope you can find it in the goodness of your heart to make the small amount of effort to pass this message on to 'Santa' (otherwise known as Mr. Assem Allam).

She'll be attending her first football game once she's old enough to sit still for 90 minutes, she's already watched every game I've not been at when we've been televised wearing her full city kit, her favourite toy is her purple Disney princess football, and the first baby grow she ever wore was a dribbling for the tigers one from the club shop.

Who can deny a one year old girl her most wanted Christmas present?

Thanks for your time.

Mr. Hat

I overheard some chat in town today between a group who were plotting to use their thermos flasks to smuggle in flares, which they will get out in the bogs before bringing them in to the seats.

Think the club need to be checking this route out.

Now you've said that... Mondays HDM front page story:

West standers miss first half against Hull

Queues to enter the west stand for Liverpools game against Hull lasted until half time after police received intelligence that contraband was planned to be smuggled in to the stadium in tea flasks.
