Queens Park Rangers could be interested in signing Arsenal misfit Nicklas Bendtner this January, it has emerged.

The controversial forward has spent the last two seasons away from the Emirates Stadium on loan and looks to have no future at the club, particularly after recent disciplinary problems that saw him arrested earlier this week.

QPR are keen to bring in a new striker though, and have been linked with similarly big names in Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe in recent months.

However, SportsDirect News now understands that Rangers manager Harry Redknapp may be keen to take a chance on Bendtner, if the Danish international is ready to take a step down to the Championship.

Redknapp's side are certainly among the favourites to win promotion to the Premier League this season, currently sitting in third place level on points with the top two, having been relegated from the top flight last season.

Bendtner has made no secret of his desire to leave Arsenal, and was linked with the likes of Crystal Palace and Hull City during the summer.

Surely not....

He had his chance to be a hero at that last game when he came on as a sub. Was it Champions League? In fairness he would probably do well at this level but I suspect he has far too high an opinion of himself to step to Championship level.

Anyone can write crap like this. Me included

Queens Park Rangers could be interested in signing ...

1. Matt Smith ... because he'll need work after Dr Who regenerates.
2. Iggle Piggle ... because the amount to be made from merchandising would be enormous.
3. Robbie Williams ... because Harry thinks the lad is great.
4. etc, etc, etc

I was going to say he's like zlatan without the talent but someone got there before me.

On talent alone, he'd be a great signing in the champ but he's got a world class ego with a Shane long type talent level, more trouble than he's worth.

He's only 25 and has scored 22 from 55 games for Denmark acccording to Wikip. I seen him play very well for them, and I think he could be a top, top signing for us. A very big fella with a lot of skill, and his ego and temper make him sound like he's made for us!

Hopefully, our club has a 'too high opinion of ourselves' to even consider him.

He's really not a bad player, don't know if he'd fit in with your club but is certainly talented enough to play in the Championship. He's on something like 50k/week at Arsenal which probably just fuels his already inflated ego.

In a two striker system I could see him being a very decent signing for a mid to bottom table prem club which is an accomplishment within itself.

Simply put, overpaid and not nearly at the level of Arsenal or Juventus for that matter.

Why wouldn't we want to sign the greatest living player in Bendtnerland? A magical place where Gods sit on benches, egos rule supreme and the merest hint of talent has been outlawed by the majestic rule of HRH Egotism.
