If it was on loan until the end of the season then possibly otherwise underwhelmed.

Started and scored a good header early on for Arsenal last night. Will be surprised if we get him this season

Only just seen this thread and disagree with the majority of opinions.

Bendtner has the ability to play for at least mid table sides in ANY of the top leagues BUT the following has to be in place:

    1. A manager that will keep a constant eye on him and cajole him to make the most of his undoubted talent.
    2. A team that plays the ball early into the area - Don't confuse this with Stoke/West Hamesque football, he doesn't mind it at his feet either but needs it played in quickly as not blessed with pace.
    3. Team mates/Supporters that believe in him and wont get on his back at the first opportunity
    4. A regular starting position

Niklas is an idiot, funny thing is he knows it best himself and is a parody and not liked in Denmark as well. However..... he's aware that the likelihood of fullfilling his potential is diminishing and trust me just ask Italy and Buffon if they think he's still got it.

We've always had a record in the past of taking a punt on some loose cannons that could play - This man, if Arry has recuperated his own powers of man management could be one hell of an investment - He's hungry and if we had the chance we should grab it instantly.

Just Youtube his 2 goals against Italy in the recent World Cup clash (which was his 1st game for national side after 1 year ban without any game time) if you need proof of what he can do.

You obviously know more about him than me mate, but this is exactly the feeling I got about him. I reckon he could be a mega - signing for us too. But Arsene will probably want to keep him as back up the rest of their (very busy) season - seems he did exactly the business last night when others were rested in front of many upcoming, very tough games for them.

I hope to God not. The likes of him and Benayoun are not who we should be going after.

Nahki Wells. Now he's a player I wouldn't mind signing.

He's reportedly on £50k a week at Arsenal, he wouldn't be able to handle Cesar taking the piss out of him...

Agree Swords, we have enough experienced players, though they will be crucial in the run-in, we also need young players that can grow with the club.

With our current position, there would be many up-and-coming "stars of the future" would be see us as a huge opportunity to join, particularly with such a well respected manager.

What's the point in signing him now? He's scored his goal for the season.
