Very disappointed to see Puffin Billy pulled to race tomorrow instead. Still fancy MR in this. Over in Ireland....At 2m 4f surely rule the world is the bet, jezki is a super horse but is up in trip against the runner up to The new one. I wouldn't say that either race is better than the other as there was a half mile difference! Both were top renewals and we have been blessed with many 2nd season hurdles this year.
I loved him, I'm a sucker for a bridle horse. He won that Fighting Fifth, then won the Christmas Hurdle where he gave Rooster Booster about 30 lengths turning for home and reeled him in, then came that famous, fateful day at Cheltenham where he came to the last still on the bridle but couldn't get past Hardy Eustace. I remember him winning the Christmas Hurdle again at about 7/1, brlliant stuff, on the snaff to the last The best horse never to win a champion hurdle IMHO
nah, always like to see a class horse on his day. Just think this is closer than the bookies have it, MTOY too short for me. I'd price it 6/4 MTOY and perhaps 2/1 MR.
Don't know Oddy. Think MZ has a fair bit to prove to be considered a bona fide Grade One performer, for all he was impressive against Far West the last day. That one was in another county behind Our Conor and unless Puffin Billy comes out tomorrow and beats Chatterbox well I'd still see him as being short of top table material. I do think the Supreme form is excellent but until Mr Henderson gets the dosage levels cranked up, backing his at short prices is a perilous pursuit. Also Bino's chequered history in the race would make you think twice before rowing in. I'd fully expect to see 11/8 at least on the day, it always happens with these big races on the day

I'm not the most objective observer but there's no way i'd be backing My tent or yours on saturday. We know fibne well that many trainers leave a bit of conditioning for the business end of the season but too many of Mr henderson's principals have ran so badly so far this term it's untrue. For me it either means he's undercooked them badly or there's a problem in the yard. No bet but I'll watch with massive interest like everybody else.
