Can we rid the club of central midfielders signed by George Graham? Freund doesn't seem to have a clue as assman, whilst Sherwood should've been elbowed out the door when Baldini arrived.

We had some luck on the way but we deserved our trophies and great memories.

Chelsea have had some luck but EVERY successful team needs and gets luck but they win trophies cos they deserve to imo

Freund doesn't really do the assistant manager role, AVB now takes advice from Luis Martins more than Freund. If you notice, in recent games Freund no longer sits next to AVB on the bench.

 

Good finish from Long and 1-0 to the Baggies.

 

I like Long. Works really hard and scores a reasonable number of goals. Seems to be a description that fits every Republic of Ireland striker at the moment, though. Not quite enough quality, unfortunately.

 

Shane Long again. 2-0 to WBA. Only 10 minutes gone.

 

Villa players must be having flashbacks to our result. Could fire them up to avoid that humiliation or it could hurt their confidence and cause a collapse.

 

Another reason to send Freund packing, really.
