I think it's fair to say he'll think higher of the club that first signed him than a club he played for less than a season.

He and his family are also massive United fans.

To be fair, it saddens me that someone could hate a footballer that set up the most meaningful goal Hull have ever scored.

I've never understood nor approved of this 'not celebrating against a former club' lark. To me that shows a lack of respect to his current club. If one of our players didnt celebrate a goal against a former club i'd be ****ing furious.

So Robbie Brady pops up on boxing day and knocks in the winner in the 89th minute but doesn't celebrate and you'd be furious???

The problem we have Bum_chinned_crab is one of our players scoring against a former club never mind celebrating

I never got it either, when we score i am to happy to even consider not celebrating, they should be carried away in the moment of scoring. Then again i don't think players probably care as much as you and I.

After the initial joy of celebration, yes I would. It basically says he prefers his former club to his present one.

Your an idiot, he won't celebrate against the club he supports, what a surprise.

He will however give a bit back to the fans that have given him **** for 3 years, again what a surprise.

To wish a young lad gets hit by a bus for that is ****ing pathetic.

You're paid a wage, score the goal, celebrate and get on with it. Too many posers on here. <whistle>

I don't hate him, I applaud him when he comes to the KC, always will. His 15 goals basically ensured us play-offs and, as you said, he will forever be remembered as the one who set up Deano's goal at Wembley.

It confuses me when people are estranged as to why Campbell celebrates a goal scored against us... Maybe due to the fact he is constantly booed and receives chorus's of "Duh, duh, du-du, GREEDY BASTARD".

I'd be pretty pissed off too.

I know the Sunderland celebrations were uncalled for, but he still got a lot of **** from City fans for choosing them instead of us.

I'd have him back here in an instant. He'd have scored the chance Sagbo failed to on Saturday.

He is a 10-15 goal striker every season.

Some people jump to conclusions too quickly, I don't see what harm there is in hoping someone throws a hot wheels bus at him.

I don't really give a **** about players celebrating against former clubs, the thing with Fraizer Campbell is as soon as he left us he's always done his very best to goad us, a bit ****ish really. To my knowledge, I wasn't at the game at the SoL in our 2nd prem season, but from what I remember being told about it he was given the usual appreciative reception a former player gets, wasn't abused at all then ran half the length of the pitch just to take the piss out of our fans.

Aaron McClean didn't celebrate when he scored for us against Peterborough a season or two back.

Yes, and I thought it showed a lack of respect to his employers. I don't see why people are questioning me on this. Surely you agree that our players should be delighted if they score decisive goals for us?

They have friends back at the old Club, staff and players who they will have spent over a year with at minimum. I'm pretty sure they'd feel massively insulted and you'd be dubbed a twat if you started Celebrating like crazy in front of them all.

Then, some Clubs who have developed a lot of players at a young age and gave them their first crack of the whip with first team football, are obviously going to receive a great deal of respect from the players (i.e. Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Bale from Southampton).

Getting pissed off because a player doesn't go mental when he scores, is just petty.
