So some big tests coming up in our next set of 7 games taking us through to the end of December. How many points do you all think we will have come the new year?

    I'm going

    Chelsea (A) Lose
    A.Villa (H) Win
    Man City (H) Draw
    Newcastle (A) Draw
    Spurs (H) Draw
    Cardiff (A) Win
    Everton (A) lose

Only 9 points but some really tough matches. We could easily turn a couple of those draws into wins but I think 31 points going into January would keep us in the top 6.

Think we might get a draw against Chelsea. Poch will know how to play Mourinho. ManC are poor away, as are Spuds. So I think 14 points are very possible.

I expect us to win all our home games. It won't work out that way, of course, but we should go into each game at St Marys confident of all 3 points.

So I'd go for 9 points from the 3 home games, and anywhere from 1-4 away, so between 10-14 points in total. Being a glass half empty kind of guy at heart, I'll plump for 11.

    I'm going for:
    Chelsea draw
    Villa win
    City loss
    Newcastle win
    Spurs draw
    Cardiff win
    Everton win

That will be a very hopeful 14 points making 36. I would go for 9 as a minimum.

Let's be fair, all these games are hard. I would be happy enough coming out still above the divide between 9th and 10th.

14 points. Wins against Cardiff, Villa, Tottenham and Newcastle, draws with Chelsea and Everton, defeat against City.

I have a feeling we will beat Chelsea.
I think Mourinho has not lost a premiership game at home and that record is there to be broken and who better than by us!

Any more than 30 will be a bonus, then the new year brings a bit of a breather again where we can press on again

We will have at least 22 points, half way to safety.

Hate to be the pessimist but I feel the international break and the loss at arsenal will kill some momentum. And we will start to get some injures.

    Chelsea (A) Lose
    A.Villa (H) Win
    Man City (H) Loss
    Newcastle (A) Draw
    Spurs (H) loss
    Cardiff (A) draw
    Everton (A) lose

5 points. Hope to be proved wrong.

I thought this very thing when they interviewed him after they stole a point from the baggies.

Hope you are both right! A win at Chelsea in a live game and the media will really go into overdrive!
