Im not saying i understand how to run a club all i know is i want Sunderland to be the best they can and give 100%

I can't understand why we are linked with Ji Don Wong 20 Conner whickham 19 and in the same instance we sell our best 20 year old (i am not complaining i think £20m is good for the club)
if we want a good kid and we are lacking in the forward department get a bid in for Sturridge.
We need experience players who have experience in the Premier league and although i will not judge Bruce untill the transfer closes i can't understand whats taking so long to get at least some bids in

Gibson -quoted in the paper today saying he would love to play under Bruce
Larrson- i thought the deal was more or less certain he should be here by now
Westwood- good young keeper out of contract
Vaughan- Anyone know what happened with him
Nzog- no bids
Roger Johnson Cameron Jerome - at a relegated club as far as we know no offers in
Harry spouting off about Gyan well he can **** off unless he is going to give us Crouch Defoe and Bale
Is Gordon staying or going offer him to Man U or Arsenal

This time of year does my nut in i wish i could hibernate from May untill August

Morning Mitch.

It's the holiday season for players and managers at the moment mate, that is what is causing the hold ups. I'm sure we will start to see things happening from next week onwards, because Steve Bruce has just returned from his holiday, so I'm led to believe.

He's in for a shock then when he finds out we have sold Henderson
 
ji Dong Won is supposed to be quite good, but in all honesty i have never seen him play, which is suprising as according to his wiki page

so i must have been dozing off when he done all that lol

I think part of it is, in Korea they love him, so if we buy him for 2 million (got no idea of the price btw) we will easily sell that many shirts (whether they will be real or counterfeight is the problem though) so we should make our cash back quite easy, and maybe make it back in the first few days of buying him, it will also raise our profile in asia (just like elmo/gyan will in africa) which means more shirt sales, more merchandise sold = more cash to spend.

I have no problem with this buy at all, even if we have to sell him in 1 or 2 years if he doesnt make it, it will raise our profile in asia and thats good enough for me.

Absolutely spot on Steve. The financial rewards from this deal could be huge. I believe the transfer fee is £1.3m which is **** all in todays market. IMO, it's a win, win situation, a great bit of business by the club.
 
Its a frustrating time mitch and I feel that frustration, however. Plyaers and managers are still on holiday and we dont know who we are trying to bring in, I think we will see the start of movement by the end of next week, but its only think.

Dong wong I no nothing about and Wickham seems to be a good buy if we can get him, cant compare him to Hendo.

Gibson - Dont know but I would think that becasue it was a joint bid they are giving time to the other 2.
Larrson- Back from holiday so expect news next week

Mitch has a point in his OP. How come when we are selling, the deals are done in the time it takes to cook Sunday lunch, yet when we are buying, it drags on for weeks?

Something not right there.

Mitch, didn't have that much pal. It's my mates bloody home made wine. He makes all sorts so we had a bottle of each. Our lass calmed down a bit & off to her ma's all day but I thought that story was so funny I wanted to share it with you all while it was, ahem, fresh in my mind like.

But WHY do ALL our buys seem to go on forever?
 
We are not the only ones Jones to Man U has hit a snag

and no doubt Harry has been watching Ji Don Wong for years and thinks he will make a great partner for
Er Pav Crouch Defoe Keane Dos Santos Vander vart ffs i did,nt know i was short on strikers better get a bid in for somemore i wonder if i can find out who Sunderland want and ill jump in.
In fact i can maybe get billions off Bruce for a couple of mine who are excellant and they are part of spurs future, but then again they bought Bent
