I closed the thread as this board is trying to move forward and cannot be done with threads like that. It looks like some are looking to use the new forum to discuss football and are also hell bent on destroying this one too <doh>

Great post and Thankyou for your input.

Sadly, things won't change here. Posters are leaving in their droves and I don't see where the new will come from.

Don't worry about it... Our board lost many members to a break away site. Wish them well.

The main attraction to me of this site is the pure scale of discussion, because it's a multi-board forum. I love being able to pop over to the Liverpool board to discuss Suarez's latest crazy moment, or to converse with opposition fans ahead of fixtures. Some people like single board forum's, but it's just too repetitive and "in crowd"-esque to really inspire me to debate.

But if you keep talking, and most importantly keep enjoying it, there'll always be new members and usually the go-betweens who find one-board discussion's limitations early on, but also like the specific and centric features of the new forum. For what it's worth, I intend to post more here. I like Swansea <ok>

Just don't come on our board and criticise Fer <whistle>
You might be accused of being a WUM or a mackem... <laugh>

When we play Newcastle I shall Definitley visit the Newcastle board. Brilliant board and fans, my favourite away trip too.

I wonder if my final thread will be closed too?

Serious post:

Valley do this board a favour and step down immediately as a mod, you've said u are stepping down so get your name off the mod list ASAP it is you that is the route cause in here...FACT!!

Yes he is. Two closed threads today and no questions answered.

Does anyone know why Never stepped down. Ash and Valley do but Ash is too much of a gentleman to say why. I know why Never finally had enough, anyone interested ?

I really feel sorry for our mods, both Valley and Never have done a great job, and I hope they stay as long as possible, but if they do step down and we cannot agree on mods, then that is no big deal, as the super mods will keep an eye until such time as we have got the right mods in place. All this tit for tat is getting very tiresome, can we discuss footy please?

Sadly, for me, musty had joined the other forum so I will not be posting there.

Those that are leaving, I wish you all the best. Sadly the issue will remain there as personalities will clash in the same way as they have here.

That's a real shame, I reckon you'd walk into a mod position over there, maybe even supermod and then no one could stop you enjoying yourself

There'll be a mention of your club actually but not what you think

Dilli, one reason I agree with the actions of Ash and Valley is that supporters of other clubs are not made welcome on this board, Swansea are a fantastic club but this board is to insular and full of nepotism and cliques.

Some of your own posters including yourself are not averse to posting on other clubs boards and that's how it should be across the whole forum, so maybe this clearing the air between you all might benefit the board for those of you that stay.<ok>
