I was just wondering if there was any more news on any transfers, someone told me something about jordan rhodes and ryan taylor

Gonna have to get some real quality in to replace Moro, Lisbie and of course SUPER NEIL! We don't have 'that player' now that Bomber is gone, who can come on and lift the whole team and the crowd - massive shame, although he had to either leave/stop playing at some point, was just hoping we could sneak a couple more years!
Have heard rumours that Chopra is up for sale...
Also Bothroyd was released, one of those?

Le Fondre = good goal scorer, but need more than one striker in this window, I know Marquis and McQoid are coming on but they're not ready just yet I don't think - although the end of the season was very promising we can't put all the goal scoring on their shoulders just yet?
Marquis has now proven though that he's an instinctive scorer, and McQoid that he cant half hit a ball!

Not heard anything about the following in a while: Vincelot, Rhodes, Angel, Townsend, Puncheon.

Edit: Anybody know if we got anything for Theo Robinson? If not that was 400k wasted!
Could try going after Maynard but would be a big ask as Bristol City signed him for 2.25m a few years back, but he only had 1 year left on the contract http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13697363.stm

I trust that KJ will get somebody, but really hoping its some real talent as I don't want us to do a 'Swindon' - sell our goal scorers and go from playoffs to rock bottom and relegation!

Its gonna have a profound effect on little clubs like Millwall with a very meagre following and not much revenue coming in, unfortunately they can only play us twice next season, unless they draw us in the cups so the revenue they make from those games will help them out, but there's no time for sentiment, we can't hang around looking after these small clubs, we're on a mission

Not really - Sponsorship counts as turnover so JB will just get one of his or his sons companies to sponsor us for ****loads!!

Can't see Ken Bates doing that though <laugh>

good news for us as we already have a minimal wage structure in place, its the bigger clubs that will suffer, those who pay well over the top to attract bigger players that they cant afford. it also means if you buy a player your accounts will have to show that youve earned it, something that bates dont like doing, and avoids at all costs. so no more buying players for you lot.
no wonder bates is all for it.<laugh>

So if footballers were bought off the supermarket shelf, clubs like Millwall will have to shop at LIDL for a new striker and we would shop at Waitrose........................if we wanted to

No more panic buys for your lot when you lose a few games then. Hopefully compensation payments to sacked managers can be found from the back pocket the success used to come from.

didnt bates declare that your last seasons profit was 150k after selling delphi after good cup runs tv monies etc.

cant buy much with that <laugh>
60% you can use 90k your buying days are over good news for kenneth bad news for leeds <ok>

still never mind youll have nice new grass and a few new hosepipes to look forward to next season

thats your budget gone <laugh>
