The Liverpool dirty tricks department is working overtime at the moment.

Today we have yet another story of a Saints' player supposedly wanted by them.

So that is player number four now: Lallana; Rodriguez; Schneiderlin and now Osvaldo and that little lot should set them back about £160 to £200million.

Is this a case of if we can't beat them on the pitch then we'll undermine their team spirit?

There is no chance of that my little Scouse friends.

If this rubbish is to believed then Liverpool will be buying half of Southampton's team which is astonishing seeing as they are skint.

They don't have two ha'pennies to rub together.

The media of course is happy to go along with all of this absolute load of garbage. I just hope their fans aren't stupid enough to believe it.

Just wait and see how many bone idle, lazy overpaid journalists cut and paste this load of crap tomorrow.

I shall keep a tally but I am sure it will contain all the usual suspects.

it's just ****ty journos filling pafes during the international break, and to be honest from a fans point of view we wouldn't want any of the players mentioned imo

Oh yes you ****ing would matey. The tragedy for you is that you have only one player we would want and he would be sat on the bench for 90 minutes of most games.

We have gate crashed your nice cosy little cartel and you hate it like mad.

Can't take it as a compliment, I'm afraid. Liverpool are just the umpteenth club to apparently stand in line waiting to take all our key players off us. Of course it's all crap, but that is what contributes to it being so annoying. Go and raid another club. Our players are happy enough where they are.

I quite fancy us taking Sturridge off your lot though. :)

and I take it you'd have Suarez on your bench then. :D

I meant no offence but the players you mentioned are not good enough to take us from 6th into the top4 and beyond so I see not point in any bids, we need to add 1st team quality not flash in the pan gambles

Comments like these which make me believe more and more that we can break into this top 4. Your Liverpool and Chelsea fans just can't take us seriously which is good because we are better than they realise!

top4 is a massive ask, one which I don't think we will achieve this season but good luck to you.

Gee thanks buddy.......a compliment....OH come on .....you've got blinkers on.......The only surprise is that you have not mentioned a couple of our other stars. No mate you guys would not stand a chance of getting them it would break your bank to even try. I have always had a lot of respect for your club and fans.....but you trying to kid us your fans aren't interested in a couple of our players beggars belief......

it's a ****ty bit of journalism not the fans calling for us to bid for him just to be clear.

I don't think anyone in your squad would improve us much tbh imo, I know that may be difficult to read but it's how it is mate.

Lovren, Schneiderlin, Clyne, Shaw, Lallana, Wanyama & Ward Prowse most definitely would

Hey no problems buddy.....you are entitled to your opinion.....In truth I think we feel much the same....although I can think of one forward from your team that could help us...as long as he stays on his feet and keeps his mouth shut that is........I truly hope Liverpool has a good season.....you are a bit over due. Keep your eyes peeled though we will be up there with you not too far away.
 
Yawn boring journalism filling dead space. Unless they're taking Poch too I can see no reason why he'd go. I like the way they mention l'pool are 2p off arsenal but fail to mention the fact that we are only 1p behind them!

Im not knocking osvaldo but don't think he would be an immediate upgrade on stirring/suarez. Any why would you risk unsettling what is arguably the best strike pairing in the league? God why am I even indulging this crap!
 
They could def do with Morgan, the Pool midfield were totally outclassed by Moorgan and Victor. Pool have been built around an excellent front 3 but have an average midfield( poor if Gerrard is bossed as he is when we play them) an average defence although Agger is coming back and an excellent keeper. Really cannot class them as a top English team anymore
