Footballers can't win can they? You criticise them if they move to you for a large wage or fail to respect their decision if they move to the Spanish league which is where they've always wanted to go.

I haven't criticised him regarding a large wage, we don't even know if he's been offered a contract yet/spoken to the club directly. I wasn't having a go about the fact he's not moving to us (that's his decision and I respect it) I just feel that he's been disrespectful to NUFC by saying out right that he's not even considering us. What he should do is keep his mouth shut until the deal is done with whatever club he signs for, and if that is not us then fair enough.

It's how he's handled it. The amount of times he's went on and on about wanting CL football, wanting Valencia and wanting PSG. What he tells the media makes no difference to the outcome, so it's just saying it for the sake of it, and everytime he does, it makes us look a little bit more like we can't compete.

It really depends on his mindset. He could be turning down the PL and want to join PSG because it's his boyhood club, or he could be turning it down because he thinks he's better than us. Who knows.

According to that they're giving lille 17.5m euros and paying him 168k euros a week. Seems a bit ridiculous to me like, but you never know with city.
 
Anyone else hoping we get NZogbia instead, I doubt we would of got both. Would be chuffed if NZogbia came back, especially with what his so called 'source' told the chronicle today!

Would scare the **** out of defenses...
 
I'd rather have Zog back, may not be a big name signing like Gervinho but he's proven and is a beast of a player at times! Is it true he rejected Liverpool?
