No, he infers through his knowledge of Brazil's busted anal muscle and big red alkie face, that Brazil has Irish lineage.

At no point does he tell Brazil that he is Irish.

Whyte And The Missing Millions

I am told that former Rangers owner Craig Whyte could be getting his collar felt in the near future. According to sources, BDO investigations have thrown up what will be an absolutely gigantic story of fraud and forgery on a staggering scale involving Whyte’s purchase of Rangers.

Police Scotland are believed to be closing in on Whyte and it is reckoned he could get the maximum sentence available if found guilty.
I would imagine Whyte’s extraordinary unpopularity and toxic name might be a problem in terms of his getting a fair trial. No doubt anyone involved with his trial would have to prove they were not bluenoses!

On a serious note, this trial will be one of the biggest news stories in years and involves alleged misappropriation of millions. Some of the allegations being made are astonishing and will be sickening for Rangers fans to hear. Should Whyte stand trial for fraud it would certainly strengthen the case made by many Rangers fans that the club’s recent woes brought unwarranted punishment by the footballing authorities. If Whyte is subsequently convicted it would mean that Rangers were themselves the victim of a crime and questions would then have to be asked about the SFA’s role, particularly over how much was known at Hampden about Whyte’s suitability to be involved in football or lack thereof.

The scale of wrongdoing alleged is quite stunning and will definitely enhance Craig Whyte’s “bogey man” status used so much recently by the Requisitioners and their mouthpieces. Ironically, someone on the Requisitioner side is far closer to Whyte than anyone at Ibrox, being a former drinking buddy of the disgraced former owner.

Although I expect the Whyte story to be hot news for quite some time, the reality is that he is now part of history as far as Rangers is concerned. Despite the pathetic and hypocritical attempts by some to spook the Rangers fans with “Whyte is still involved and pulling the strings” scare stories, the reality is that Whyte has left the scene.

The vital thing now is for Rangers to build a board that is not only competent but beyond reproach. The appointment of a great CEO and good Non-Execs would be a giant step forward. The big problem for Rangers fans is the constant pressure to look back to things like the latter years of the SDM Years, the Big Tax Case and the Whyte fiasco, as well as liquidation. These things are referred to relentlessly by enemies of Rangers and a hostile media. The upshot of this is shown in the chronic suspicion that many Gers fans are gripped by in relation to the club’s governance.
Yet the real need is to look forward and to be positive about both the present and the future. Fear and paranoia do not make for a healthy environment and Rangers need to eradicate this kind of mindset from the club. <laugh>

I am aware this is easier said than done but I do speak to many Gers fans who are far more upbeat about the club’s condition than the so-called spokesmen who are spreading fear and alarm at this present time. I have been approached very seriously about heading a new fans group and I think if I accept I will make one of the conditions of membership a positive mental attitude in relation to Rangers!
As the song goes, “Don’t worry. Be happy. Cos every little things going to be all right.”

Gers fans like to sing it.
It’s about time we lived it.

Oh dear:

[h=1]Rangers: Police investigate Craig Whyte links at Ibrox[/h]
Police are investigating whether former owner Craig Whyte is still involved at Rangers. And they have written to the former chief executive Charles Green to ask for his help in their enquiries. Green stood down from his position in April following allegations he colluded with Whyte to buy Rangers' assets.

An investigation funded by Rangers cleared Green of any wrongdoing but Police Scotland have been passed files by the law firm who carried it out.

And BBC Scotland has seen an email sent by police last month to a lawyer representing Green. When the Scottish Football Association transferred the liquidated company's membership to a new company "the key requirement" was the total lack of involvement of Whyte.

Green resigned after Whyte alleged the pair colluded in the sale of the Ibrox club's assets after a period of administration. Rangers asked the law firm Pinsent Masons to investigate those claims - and though they found no evidence, they have passed files to Police Scotland, who in turn have asked Green for his version of events.

Police Scotland will not comment on ongoing investigations. A source close to Green told BBC Scotland that he is co-operating with police, while a similarly placed source for Whyte says police have not contacted the former owner on the matter. The investigation is being carried out by Police Scotland's Economic Crime Unit and they also want to speak to Green about a document submitted to Companies House.

This document lies at the heart of Whyte's claim that he and Green were working together.

Incidentally, looks as if McMurdo was wrong and right at the same time?

Remember this?

Rangers have confirmed that an independent investigation has found no evidence that former owner Craig Whyte invested in the current Ibrox set-up. BBC Scotland last week revealed the findings of the report commissioned by Rangers' board.

The Ibrox club have now confirmed the decision to the Stock Exchange but say details of the report's findings will remain private and confidential. Links between Whyte and the consortium that bought Rangers were probed. The inquiry, which was carried out by law firm Pinsent Masons and overseen by Roy Martin QC, investigated claims made by Whyte of his involvement in the Green-led acquisition of Rangers' business and assets last summer.

"Based on the assessment of the available evidence, the company considers that the investigation found no evidence that Craig Whyte had any involvement with Sevco Scotland Limited (now called The Rangers Football Club Limited), the company which ultimately acquired the business and assets of The Rangers Football Club PLC from its administrators," said Rangers' Stock Exchange statement.

I have no doubt that the Scottish Police will find no evidence of any link with Craig
Whyte and The Rangers. Sure they have already decided that there is no link .
Just like the Strathclyde Police who have never heard sectarian or bigoted singing
at Ibrox. Who also saw nothing wrong at the recent forces day of celebration. Not
even soldiers standing under a banner proclaiming to keep Ulster Protestant .
Then again thousands of British troups spent almost 30 years doing that in the
Six counties.
