Schalke's Kevin-Prince Boateng aiming for big impact against Chelsea
His career since has taken him to Milan and, last summer, earned the Ghana international a £12m move back to the country of his birth with Schalke, though Boateng admitted some regret that Tottenham rarely saw the best of his qualities during that ill-fated spell in England.

"I think everybody knows that I had a difficult time in England when I arrived here," he said. "I was young, I had all the money, you come here at 20 years [of age] and have to play with Tottenham … it was not easy for me. I was choosing the wrong way in that situation because I was not experienced enough.

Two excellent assists from Bale the other night in Madrid's 3-2 win over Vallecano - one right footed cross headed in by Benzema, the second assist is really great though, knocking it over the left back's head on the touchline then driving towards goal and squaring for Ronnie.

Bale leaves his marker in tears! Watch defender's embarrassment after being made to look stupid by Madrid wing wizard

Ronaldo and Bale, scary how great they will become as an attacking partnership.

Any budding revolutionaries out there might want to consider picking up the current kit from Brazilian third division side Madureira.
They created it as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of their 1963 tour of Cuba, where the side were introduced to the man whose face features on the design.

The keeper's kit is basically a Cuban flag with the addition of the same famous mush:

They've gone from selling a handful of shirts to flogging thousands overnight.

Madureira are going to feel sick when somebody reminds them that Che Guevara was an Argentine...

Che did some football coaching when he was traveling aswell didn't he?

The red one's quite cool. Quite tempted but I've got enough random shirts from across the World.

Am friends with this girl on Facebook, she works in London night clubs and took this photo last night. Zaha apparently bought a 6l bottle of Belvedere Voddy to celebrate his upcoming 21st birthday this weekend.

Guessing he won't be featuring against l'Arse...

Saw the "bans" thread, but it's been closed, so I cannot reply to it. Hope no one objects to my making the point here.

Bearing in mind the time that I have been banned from both the Arsenal and 'Pool boards - and what appears to be, in each case, life long bans - I really do hope that our mods are not thinking of lifting any of the current bans that we have in place, at least not with there being some tit-for-tat lifts across the boards. PESKIE, for instance, has been far a greater pest on this board than I ever was on their board (most of their rank and file, at the time, didn't even believe I deserved to be banned), so I would hope that he isn't allowed back on here without all of our currently banned posters being shown the same degree of respect.

Hiag - I'm guessing the Ban Thread has been closed because it is for the use of mods only to make announcements, and they don't want it getting derailed by certain mischievous posters <whistle>

Mods - Will there be a list published of those who are currently banned and the reasons, or is the Ban Thread only going to include bans from this point onwards. It would be useful for us to know who is already banned, to give us a greater understanding of these users when interacting with them on other teams' boards.

P.S. I have to agree with Hiag, that I've found the quality and temperament of this board has gone up immeasurably since a certain goon mod got the boot.

The Ban Thread was created at the request of The Powers That Be to give greater transparency to the whole process.
There should be one going up on each board soon and some already have one.
No current bans are being assessed at the moment and there are no plans to add old ones to the thread.
