I actually thought Hankin was a good player, dirty ****er but not short of skill. Unfortunately for him he was following in the footsteps of Clarke, Jones and to a lesser extent Duncan McKenzie so he had hard acts to follow. He wasn't helped by having John Hawley alongside him either.

I liked Hankin because he was a dirty fecker and I remember Kevin Hird playing in my first time at E.R and I think he scored from the spot against Scum and Derek Parlane got the other to stop them from winning the League.
