Not sure what all the hype is about him, from speaking to some Leeds supporting friends they don't really rate him, other than a few long range efforts every now and then they feel he goes missing in games and looks lazy. Whenever they go on about their best players (which they do a lot) Snodgrass, Howson, Gradel and Becchio are always mentioned before Johnson. He'd do a job at championship level, but not sure about the premiership. (Will now wash my hands after typing a lot of stuff about TWS in the post!)
He wanted out in January - they wouldn't let him go, so he didn't sign a new deal. I think he's a decent player and the comments from Leeds' fans are just born out of anger that he didn't think that they were big enough for him. Very impudent are Leeds fans. Would have been ideal in our midfield, but as soon as a PL club were interested it was always a dead rubber
