It's too early for any lack of depth too have had a meaningful effect. Arsenal have had a very easy start too, having only played one side that's not in the bottom half and that was at home.

So have Liverpool. Their two toughest games(Soton and United) have come at home and they've also played the bottom 2. It's a sign of how leagues work that they're the top 2 at the moment, they're the most consistent sides so far. The 2 favourites have shown that no game is easy in this league by dropping points when they'd be expected to win.

Plus Liverpool have the only world class player in the league :D

    1-0 Arsenal.

Twatkinson's such an awful ref, he could've booked him later.

That's really poor. Liverpool fans will be furious with that.

It'll be interesting to see how Rodgers deals with this. Another midfielder for Flanagan, perhaps? They're not giving the forwards enough support or quality delivery.

    I won't have a bad word said about him.:emoticon-0116-evilg

In all seriousness Arsenal are playing poorly but they're comfortable. Liverpool need to 4-4-2. Way too negative from Rodgers.

Whilst it's 1-0 Liverpool have a chance but if the goons score again it's curtains.

Suarez and Sturridge aren't sitting on the centre backs shoulder like you want. I know Suarez, in particular, likes to drop off at times but he's doing in much earlier in the build up as a result of no midfielders getting forward quickly. Stick Henderson out on the wing and bring on Coutinho, if he's fit. As it is Arsenal are being allowed to get numbers forward and often are having the time to get back as Liverpool can't create a threat quickly enough.

22 points from 9 games (5 of which away) in the Premier League is a good start full stop. Our squad depth situation can only get better as it definitely can't get much worse.

Cissoukho and Koulo Toure are not top four quality starters.

Rodgers has made a right mess of this one. Wrong sub at half-time and their shape is a complete mess.

Liverpool well and truly found out. 3-0 Arsenal more likely than 2-1 Arsenal at this stage.

Flanagan off for Moses. Henderson to right-back? Can't see this working well, but who knows?

Koscielny has been excellent. Suarez has been the only Liverpool player who hasn't been very ordinary. Sturridge poor. Is Gerrard on the pitch?

He's been allowed to be, though. Suarez has been so isolated for most of this game that he can just stay tight on him and it doesn't matter if he gets turned or the ball gets laid off.

For me Chelsea, United and City have hard starts whilst Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool's have been easy. Everton somewhere in the middle.

Not that it matters because we've seen Chelsea beat City + Arsenal and lose to Newcastle in the space of 6 days. Similarly City have dry humped everybody they've played at home yet are shipping goals left, right and centre away.
