I'm on the boards quick tonight and off again, got a shed load to do tonight as usual..

Anyway, being as devoted to the cause as I am with my Lollie, the last 4 years has been hell, I have committed myself to marrying the lass next November 3rd as she will certainly need someone there to love her and look after her for years to come and who better than me that loves the lass to bits in any shape or form..

We chose next November 3rd simply as I have two children born on that day, Danny (Teessidemackem) and my Ella (Afutureyorkmackem).. and hopefully by then we can have Lollie sitting long enough to do the deeds..

It's a funny world, from being a self-centered arrogant, aggressive, belligerent twat 5 years ago, I go to love meaning love in every aspect, caring beyond care and wishing I could take the pain away from Lollie into me..Like I said, it's a funny old world..

My middle son, the one in the top hat in my avatar, was married last year and, for a wedding present, we took him and his lass to a concert and a weekend in York.

It was The Unthanks at York Minster with the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.

It was incredible and, as we know the lasses, they came for a chat at half time. They wished the happy couple all the best and had their photos taken for luck.

Unbeknown to us they announced, in the second half, that they were dedicating the next song to Graham & Katie on their forthcoming wedding.

Can you imagine ..... the Minster, the brass band and 2000 people wondering who these people were.

It was wonderful mate and a present you just couldn't buy. I can't find a recording but here's the same song from Durham.

Tell your lass it's dedicated to her from all your mates on here and give her my best.

I'm a long way from 'home' and never ask too much about what my sons are doing regarding going to matches ...... I don't want to feel like I've pushed them into going.
