    What i dont understand is that Ashley wants to keep the wage bill down and thats why hes off loading high earners but surely Gervinho would demand high wages???

    Gervinho will currently be on about £8k a week. £40k a week will seem like plenty.

    Oddly, someone who earns £40k a week is not a high earner for the purposes of this conversation

    After tax 40k a week isnt that much, you pay less tax in spain and france. He will probably be on about 35-40k but i wouldnt be suprised if he wanted anywhere between 50 and 80k a week

    I'm strangely starting to like Cwarr there's obviously something there. I particualrly like the way he responds to anyone questioning him.

    Gervinho will almost certainly go for the highest wage he can get. He's so sought after, so the only possible way to get him is to offer him as much as we can. Offering him a wage less than what Arsenal can give him for example is pure transfer market suicide.

    Maybe you shouldn't have been asking him about his bank details and passwords etc etc.

    With Gervinho and Gameiro looking unlikely, who can we now persue? There has to be plenty of European strikers wanting to come to England who are of brilliant quality, to us anyway.

    The name Bendtner has been doing the rounds, in what way is that progress? Arsenal's Ameobi!

    We should.

    I would put money on us not getting any of these class players we're linked with. Sly old MA building our hopes up again. Poo!

    Arsenal seem to have switched here efforts into signing Hazard, not really sure if this is a good thing or bad;

    It could mean Gervinho has told them he won't sign for them and is coming to us

    or the fact the Lille said they'd only sell one and they know they'll get more for Hazard and Gervinho aint going anywhere
