It's not just Arsenal and Chelsea, we also have City and Spurs before xmas, so with the best will in the world I can't imagine us being top at xmas.

Yup I'm going with arsenal, 2nd and 3rd are between Chelsea and City with united fighting Spurs for 4th. It really annoys me when pundits on MOTD refuse to answer questions like "can arsenal take the title?", just say yes or no for gods sake!

It's such an easy question to answer as well, not like "will they". Just say "yes", of course it's possible.

I predicted City before the start of the season though, and I'm sticking with that.
 
This season could be the most interesting for a while. The top clubs are all in the mix...too early to write anyone off. Would be delighted to see Saints involved right through the season, though realistically it will be astonishing to see us in the top six come May.
 
Presumably Poyet has already told the Sunderland fans we play like Dagenham and Redbridge.

If we could perform well and stay above Manu this season, that would be an achievement!

Arsenal
Chelsea
City
Spurs
Liverpool
SAINTS
Manu
Everton
 
We won't finish above united, Liverpool or Everton. Stop getting carried away everyone, you're tempting fate.

People are reeeeeeeally overestimating how far Man U has fallen. Remember Arsenal last year? They were tenth in early December, averaging 1.4 points a game (Man U is at 1.375 right now). Then they remembered that they are good at football, and the wins started piling up.

Exactly. 70% of people on the latest MOTD poll said United won't finish in the top 4. It's just reactionary and short-sighted; they'll probably still challenge for the title.

That's pretty much what I'd go with, save for the bit where Manchester City was seemingly liquidated.
