Agree with that. Points deficit not too much to overcome at the moment, but they have to stop leaking goals.

It's possible...I can think of a certain team that had shipped seven more goals at this point than Palace have and went on to survive. Then again, that team also scored a little more freely.

My picks at the start of the season were Sunderland, Palace and Cardiff. Gonna stick with them. Always fancied Bruce to do a good job with Hull, he seems to do a solid job wherever he goes. Palace lack the quality and Sunderland are just in an almighty mess (though they could conceivably pick up form now)

I went for Hull, Palace and possibly Stoke, with Cardiff likely to stay up as best of the promoted clubs. Now think Palace, Sunderland and one from Stoke, Cardiff or Norwich (hope not). But it can be amazing what can change in a couple of weeks.

We are something like thirteenth favourite to go down. The odds are even shortening on us winning the title...presumably a few over-excited fans have laid bets on :)

Apparently [I heard this on the Monday Night Club], several Saints fans have made substantial bets that Saints will be top of the PL at Christmas. Technically, that need only be the 25th. They can be knocked off their perch on Boxing Day.

Mark Chapman quoted the next four games [at least] and suggested that 12 points were very possible.

We've played six top half teams to date and only two from the bottom, one of which,Stoke,we won in a one sided game.I think by the half way stage things will look better.Exactly the same as happened to Saints last year.

Stoke look very weak to me and hoping to survive on 0-0 draws.

Be amazed but of course delighted if were top 4 at Christmas let alone top. On paper we do have some so called easy games in our next 4 but then we have Arsenal and Chelsea. If we can get 10 points plus from our next 6 we will be doing well.

Got to learn how to get those 3 points off teams that just come to defend. Too easy to lose 1.0 or only get a point against teams like that. We need our strikers to be ruthless. Mauricio mentioned that other teams look differently at us now...yes, they fear us (seems strange to be able to write that), but this means they park the bus and hope to score on the break...the weakness to our system.

So what? We took points off them last season, and we're a better team now.

And? Arsenal are a better team than last season. We will probably lose at the Emirates. Bit more hopeful of getting something at Chelsea but we most likely won't get more than 2 points at those games.

Arsenal didn't buy many, but Ozil alone makes up for that. He will be shown to be the transfer of the season. ManU fans are spitting feathers about it...justification alone for signing him. My money is on Arsenal for the title.

Still think they are light up front. An injury to Giroud and they are in trouble, Mind you their midfield seems to be scoring for fun!
