Prefer the standard highlights on SP , they have us down as a 2-1 win !

I'll just give up on having opinions on players altogether if I'm that wrong again :( (provided Lovren doesn't self destruct like he did at Lyon)

I'm quite keen we start a selection policy based on "Players Dan doesn't like" following the Lovren success.

Bring out Damiao! He'll bang in 40 a season at this rate!

4 in 22 for Internacional this season. But yeah he'd probably score 40 just to spite me.

Ambitious Southampton are plotting a January loan move for Manchester United 'forgotten man' Ashley Young.
The Saints are the season's surprise package and are ready to show they are now in the big league with a move for the former Aston Villa man.
The south coast outfit stunned United manager David Moyes and the Old Trafford faithful with a last gasp equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw to grab fifth in the Premier League .
Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino sees his team sitting just five points behind leaders Arsenal and he and the board are determined not to lose any momentum during the second half of the season.
Young has shown inconsistent form so far this term and has made just three starts for the champions.
His own cause hasn't been helped by the accusations of 'diving' that have followed him again this season.
However, Pochettino likes the pace and crossing ability a player who cost United £17 million will bring to his team.
And we understand he will attempt to do a deal which would see Saints fund part of his £110,000-a-week wages.

Football in Beefy's..? Of course you can. Just don't let it take over. Just to show it can be done, I am going to blatently repost an article I put on the ManU match thread which was completely ignored, and yet is too good to ignore:

    Excellent blog from Chris Rann.

Yeah, I don't think that'll happen, Lamb. There's more chance of Ramirez disappearing to Lazio, imo.

There's also an old article out there, doing the rounds again, saying that Schneiderlin is the water carrier that Liverpool need. Ain't going to happen either.

No but it shows that the media are starting to really sit up and take notice. Saints are on the up!

    True.

Would you like Ashley Young at Saints..? For me he'd have to take an oath not to dive anymore.

Not sure. I rated him when he was at Watford but haven't been convinced in recent seasons. Like Defoe very injury prone.

If he can go back to the form of when he was at Villa and the start of his United career then I'd take him in a second. Trouble is he has been woefully out of form this season and his diving antics are a disgrace.

I'm not really sure what to think. Sure, the stats fall in our favour, and anyone watching it would see we didn't dominate, but in terms of actual highlights I'm not sure how much more of us they could have shown. A lot of our shots, which show up in the stats, were non-threatening and non-entertaining so understandably wouldn't have made the cut, and showing us dominating possession and a montage of Wanyama making Fellaini run scared, while being a more accurate representation of the actual game, wouldn't exactly please the audience. I don't pay attention to the analysis between matches, so if they failed to give us credit then, perhaps there'd be something to take issue with. But the highlights themselves, I don't really mind.

I watched the 90 minutes on a stream, yeah. We didn't have too many highlights to speak of, despite being either equal to or slightly better than United.

Ok, so I also assume then that you would agree that the highlights were not reprentative of the match, then..?
