Lads think it's time to face up to it, we are going down. So let's get used to it now, we get rid of the dead wood and rebuild for the 50th time. It hurts me to admit it but right now we don't look like a PL team. So let's hope we do a year in the championship like the mags did and we come back better for it
 
Newcastle then Hull. Must get 4 points preferably 6 to give ourselves some hope. Sadly I can only see 1 possibly 0 from those games. Gotta keep plugging away no point saying we r down after 8 games. Couple of wins and we r back with the pack. Not looking good at the minute and we are paying the price for losing the fulham and palace games. The rest we couldn't realistically have hoped for more than 2-3 points from
 
Not a football man, came to him relatively late in life - I reckon Quinny must be feeling pretty bad right now - I'm just waiting for Ellis to rip off his shirt next week to reveal a SMB t-shirt or remove his mask to reveal he is Mike Cashley

As much as your optimism is admirable, 1 point from 24 and -15 gd, its very hard not to think we are ****ed
 
Yup. Least we win games in the championship. Will wait for next week but yeah, I have no idea what to think about this club now, I'm disappointed obviously, but worst of all my faith in that we recover is completely gone. I'm lost for words if how crap we are right now
 
Hate to say it but i agree. On the plus side, like i said on another thread we can take a step back, get rid of the over paid sh!te, then hopefully take 2 steps forward!

Not only get rid of the deadwood get Ellis to pay up the contracts now of Oshea, Seb, Vaughan, Gards and any other player out of contract, except for JC. and get the c*nts out of our club now. DO NOT DROP THEM, KICK THE F*CKERS OUT OF SAFC. They dont give a f*ck.

Totally agree. I think Short needs to have a reassess what he's doing. Unfortunately, the likes of Swansea are showing us how a club should be run. They have a footballing ethos: when there's a change of manager, it actually looks like someone has,really thought about things. I don't think that can be said of Short.

I just wonder if it's something to do with smaller clubs, where the chairman has to be more imaginative.
 
We now have gone and there will be no way back now, other clubs will spend (including the mags). the team should be paraded in market square on Monday morning instead of them hiding. We had 7 seasons to get it right, and why did the Irish consortium get Short in for?.
