Woking is good for getting to Southampton for the games!

I actually used to live in Guildford and met my future ex-fiancee at Bar Mambo's (is that still there??) Yes, I know, I know.....

Ha, yeah, I spend a good 10 minutes waiting in Woking every fortnight.

I think it is, I've never actually been there, we tend to frequent just 2 or 3 clubs in town (because they're not a long walk) before heading back to the SU so I can't say for sure :D

Oh no, don't, it's bloody awful!

I used to get F1 Racing, but then when I got into all the junior series, I switched to Autosport because some of it's articles on lower-level drivers are pretty interesting. Don't suppose you're a fan of junior series like GP2, GP3 etc?

Absolutely, yes. I actually wrote for a US Nascar magazine about F1, but I won't link you to that because it's been terrible recently!

They all are! At least, the ones I've been in anyway. Legion, Casino, Spoons, Flares... probably a couple more. None of them are good.

I actually went on a couple of dates with a young lady from Guildford quite recently - first time I'd been back there for quite a few years, and couldn't believe how utterly dead it was.

Any particular favourite drivers you'd like to go all the way to F1?

I used to watch a lot of NASCAR actually, but it just became a massive chore to watch for like 200 laps when barely any overtaking happened.

Bit of shameless self-publication, but I've just had my first article for my student newspaper published. Thought it would be worth a mention here, because of course, Saints were mentioned, favorably.

-DTLW isn't a stranger to that, so I'll read it, St Birdsnest, even if everyone else has ignored it. :)

I enjoyed it. A very balanced article that doesn't set out to damn all others in favour of Saints.

I will have far more respect for our police if they continue kicking obnoxious Tory politician's arses.

The coppers who stitched up the snobbish Tory Whip should be awarded medals and lots of other honours and be celebrated as working class heroes.

They should now tell Eton toff and rich Tory boy Cameron and his grubby mates to use the back door to Number 10.

You have to give it to the bloody Tories going on about how the Russian oligarchs stole state assets.

What we have just witnessed with the Royal Mail sell off is rich Tory boys looking after their rich Tory friends and losing millions for the exchequer in the process.

They've been taking lessons from Abramovich.

Not to worry though. They'll recover most of any budget shortfall with another assault on the pockets of the poor.

Up the revolution brothers and let us hope it happens soon.

Next time best to make sure that said Tory has not secretly recorded the meeting in which the stitching up will actually take place. Still, lesson learned I'm sure :)

Server playing up again, so I've been away and come back with some mysterious news:

Thing is, is everyone hearing this bar me ? I've a bit of high pitched whistling tinnitus that is a constant companion, but none of this.

Anyone else ?

I don't know anything about that but if all your TV's break in about December, then that will be because of my group design project. Sorry in advance.

Good find Qwerty. One of two videos I've been searching for, on/off all afternoon. Here's the other - JWP's excellent free-kick against Lithuania:

Notice how excited his teammates are about it.

Thanks TSS, I missed JWP's goal last night, although I caught all the others before I had to go down the pub to watch the Poland game. We have some seriously good players in the U21's, notably Berahino, Morrison, and JWP himself. Very exciting for the future.
