Scotland are, of course ****e. But all this 'England expects' and talk of 'golden generations' is just ****ing nonsense.
I posted a comment some time back listing all the countries who'd won a major trophy since England won the world cup in '66. This included the likes of Denmark, Greece and Czechoslovakia. England are pish. The first time they come up against a half decent team in the World Cup/Euros they get pumped out yet they go into the next competition blindly accepting they have a good chance of winning it despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Of course that just makes it all the more amusing when they get humped and sent home
The worst thing is if you speak to about 90% of English people we don't think we have a chnace. then of course Sky, BBC et al manage to find a few loonys who think we will win it and it gets reported as everyone thinking we will do. I also wish pundits would start speaking teh truth on thos one - every paper you read has a former player saying stuff ranging from "it will be tough but we're not without a chance" "all the other teams have weaknesses we can exploit" or "we won 2 world wars and 1 world cup so everyone should respect and fear us". Nobody ever says "we won't win it but hopefully the team will go out and play with a bit of freedom, give everyone something to shout about and not really let them and everyone else down". Ultimately that's what we should be looking for.

Although, I have enjoyed watching the last 3 Scotland matches which is something I haven't been able to say in a very long time.

The last Polish keeper to play at Wembley that that was labelled a clown did all right. And we are talking about England so Boruc might actually not have a save to make.
England will beat Poland by three clear goals and qualify for Brazil. We will then have endless newspaper and TV ****ers building up the hype for the next 8 months actually convincing a load of deluded ****s that they can actually win the world cup.

I hope England win the World Cup. Think of the boost the Indy campaign would get when Scottish viewers are subject to endless hours of BBC, SKY, ITV etc. telling us about how England are better than everyone else. Not to mention the likes of Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard being knighted.
