Well thank **** for that. In the end we were fairly comfortable. Cardiff were always going to ask questions. I need to have a look at that again, was it Willos fault?

JUst need a Manure SUnderland draw to make this a pretty good Saturday. Wonder if those mackem twats have started any threads about us today?

So after all that stuff about Pardews selections at the start of the afternoon (and I hold my hands up here) it turns out he got it right. Still not keen on why we always look shaky in one half of a game, but hey, we can't have everything. We've already matched the number of away victories we got last season, and its still early days. Great stuff.

Much needed win. Remy is becoming a very important player for us. Wish he would show Papiss where the goal is

Played really well in the 1st half, passing movement and control of the game was excellent, could have gone in 3 or 4 up
2nd half poor, but fair play to Cardiff they came out and out battled us, and in fairness we wern't quite as poor as we usually are after an inspiring, keep it up lads and don't back off, team talk.

Cabaye was epic today, remy is a class act, debuchy much better and played the pass of the season to Cabaye second half, santon's positioning is laughable and Williamson as always plays well until he costs us a goal. We were comfortable until he did his flying kick miss the ball act. Tiote is a beast until he has the ball on the edge of our box, someone needs to tell him to get rid!

Pards got everything spot on today and the players were looking up for it, he definitely hasn't lost the dressing room judging by the effort of some out there. Just hope we can keep it going for once...not holding my breath though

Mbiwa had one poor game as did everyone. He won't be going anywhere thankfully
