I think with we buy any car you agree a price before you meet them? And providing its got 4 wheels on and its as you said it was (interior, decent body work etc) they dont give a ****? Could be wrong though

Would just be nice for you not to pay to get the light off if you're selling it

Depends what you tell them about it. If your mate said it was ****ed then there really isn't much point in checking it <laugh>
