Yeah I rem seeing it, quite a long one if I remember rightly I dont like using lol myself but that did make me lol
No. Got another quote and it was more than Toyota wanted However, having rang Blackhorse, it turns out the car finance wasn't setup on a purchase-hire agreement, it was a personal loan. Plus side: means I can shift the car and buy something else with the reddies but continue paying the same monthly figure. Down side: if it had been a purchase-hire agreement, there would have been a get-out clause (I've had to do this before). Probably going to sell it to We-buy-any-car (purely because of the engine light issue meaning I won't get thugs knocking on my door to get their money back) and buy a cheap runabout. Will have to pay to get the engine light taken off temporarily though.
Ah bollocks, ****ing hassle Does that light stop it going through an mot? Not all warning lights do you know, and if it doesnt, and your car runs...............
The light coming on (twice so far) means there is already an existing problem and it won't get through the MOT. However, when I paid to find out what it meant, they turned the light off and I got about 150 miles out of it before it came back on. If I clear the light just before selling it then I can plead ignorance
Scared you're doing it wrong? Its not just what you think, you could have thrown a sicky and you're really doing the garden; aka getting paid to do your garden. People just go for the vulgar stuff, myself included (as that number two at work is where the idea of the thread came from)
Mine went through with an EPC light on Is it the catalytic converter you said? I think with we buy any car you agree a price before you meet them? And providing its got 4 wheels on and its as you said it was (interior, decent body work etc) they dont give a ****? Could be wrong though Would just be nice for you not to pay to get the light off if you're selling it
We buy any car knock money off the agreed internet price for anything they can find. Scuffs, dints etc - stuff that's inevitable on an older car
Oh right okay That makes sense, ive never used but a work colleague reckoned they didnt check his ****e Peugeot over to much and they took it they didnt come down on price but on the face of it, it was a newish car it was whats under the bonnet that was the problem But then again Peugeots are ****e imo
