You have to feel for him but he must have been told this a year ago. Or at least when Posh arrived. Its best he cracks on with his career somewhere else. Be nice if reading got promoted and we can welcome Adkins and Billy back to st marys.
I agree that we should have kept him in last season for an option off the bench, but this season with Osvaldo's purchase he'd probably only play in cups. I swear I read that he was going to Reading on August 31st and then it didn't happen.
BTW, anyone with Saints Player can log onto the Reading Player and watch Billy Sharp's interview with them. It's not the last word in interesting subjects though.
Being said that Sharp will complete a permanent move by the end of next week. Fee of circa £1m.
Decent fee. Add in the loan fee from Forest last year and we've turned a profit.
Exactly. I have to say I'd quite like Reading, Adkins and Sharp to get another shot at the Premier League.
