Anybody get to see Wayne Rooney's first goal for Man Utd against Bayer Leverkeusen - has to be one of the worse refereeing decisions in history - Valencia is not only offside (standing on the goalies toes) on the goal line, but also leans back into him impeding him ... unbelievable - would love to see how the ref and assistant refs explain that decision to the assessors ...
John Percy ‏@John__Percy 7m #nffc set to confirm loan signing of #cfc midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah. Deal likely to be until January **** sake.
... good acquisition if true ... got a lot of potential plus showed he can cut it in this division whilst with Watford last season ... poor old Kasper never even saw THAT strike ...
Jesse Lingard gone to Birmingham on a one month loan ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24164296
Swansea are 3-0 up away at Valencia. Unreal result and shows that the glory days of the MON era aren't as far as away as you think.
Just been watching Swansea win 3-0 in Valencia - excellent - a damn fine side that Laudrup has built there - they play some breathtaking football ...
Watford have signed McEachran, these are the sort of players we should be loaning really. Gutted we haven't gone for Chalobah.
I know what you mean, but the thing is, last season we were crying out for age and experience. Our midfield was overrun at times last season. As good as it looks on paper, imagine playing with a midfield trio of Drinkwater, James and Chalobah. All very good players, but you need that mix. We have our fair share of youth, and as shown, we are hardly in a position to throw money around and have a large squad, as previous seasons.
Good point. I was merely referring to the fact that these are decent players in our wage bracket that are available on loan. You have to sign these to prevent others from using them! Interesting to see Lingaard score 4 on his debut, shame he couldn't manage anything whilst he was here.
I dont think Lingard was physically ready last year. He was too lightweight and struggled to get in the game
Personally I think they have made a mistake - he has brought in a whole bunch of new players and they need time to gel ... he turned around a losing team last season so he's proved he can be effective at this level. If every team sacked managers for similar poor runs then Paul Lambert and Nigel Pearson would both have gone last season ... Di Canio is an abrasive character no doubt, but he's also a winner and a fighter - and I think they are going to need such qualities ...
Yeah I know what you mean too, I am gutted that we didn't get Chalobah, especially seeing as Florist signed him instead. Really surprised he didn't go back to Watford. Anyone know why!? And Lingaard is an interesting one, how many actual minutes on the pitch did he manage for us!?
Not sure I agree with you there Fosse, he's far too mental to manage a team in the Premier League. The comments he was making about his players post-match were just unbelievable. Who would want to play for him!?
True, but if you had the option to play under him, or literally anyone else, I know who I'd pick lol!
