Sunderland have done themselves a huge favour getting shot now, the bloke is a liability and looked like he'd lost the plot already.

Watching MOTD, this is the second time in a row that Lloris gets away with handling the ball outside the box <whistle>
And United looked terrible, their weak midfield finally exposed.

The guy on TV got it spot on, their midfield and defence are one paced. They were too slow to deal with City and the likes of Aguero and Navas. Watched the first 15-20 minutes of that game and it was total domination by City. Never seen anything like it.

<ok> It was worse than the 6-1 in some senses, not that I particularly care about Utd but still. At the game at Old Trafford, they had the excuse of being down to 10 men and City scored 3 goals in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Yes I would. Second would be fantastic and ensure we can keep on strengthening. Obviously you lot winning the title would take a bit of the gloss off, but in the end 2nd would be a major step forward, and in the end I care only about Spurs progressing.

The deal would be that we win next year though <whistle>

I don't think we can extend the deal to include any add-ons I'm afraid <whistle>

Actually one caveat to how it is today. I don't think I could cope with losing by one goal (2 I suppose) goal difference. I'll accept the order, but I'd rather you won by a few points, if you are going to finish above us.

Of course. You'd have to be one of those weirdo fans who takes pride in not having a single piece of red clothing in their wardrobe to think that Arsenal not having a good season is more important than us having a good season.

In an ideal World it'd be us and you competing for the title every year. The closer we are the better the rivalry and the more at stake the better it is too. We all might joke about the otherside getting relegated and how funny it'd be but we'd miss the regular games against eachother.

I think this could be the season where both Arsenal and Spurs finish in the top four, the way Utd are going

I think it's too early for that. United have been poor and lost 2 but they were tough away games. It's a bad start for them and puts some early pressure on them but at the sametime they've got some good games coming up and if they were to say win the next 3 in the league(highly possible) then they'll all be saying "what crisis?". On the otherhand if they don't win at least 2 of the next 3 then the fans will likely start turning on the team too.

We've both struggled for points at the start of the season in recent years so it's positive that we've rectified that this year but the league's still very changeable at the moment, Liverpool went from top to 5th in one weekend! The game with Chelsea next weekend is going to be fascinating, a Spurs win gives us both a chance to make an early statement if we start setting the pace in these early stages. You guys are best placed to keep your run going at this early stage though, I expect us to improve as the season goes on.

I just think Utd's MF looks really disjointed. For me Fellani wasn't a player they needed, both Carrick and Cleverley play that role. What they really needed was an Ozil, Thiago or Fabregas and none of them wanted to join Moyes the Bartender. In Rooney and RVP they have one of the best forward lines in the PL, but if the midfield can't supply them, then they are going to struggle for goals. Add to that, Rooney may well still become a Chelsea player in January and RVP injury is a reminder of how fragile he can be.

That said, it is too early too tell just at the moment. But the season is already shaping up to be a really exciting one.

The way i see it, it's between Chelsea and Citeh for the league, and us, Spurs and United for 3rd-5th.
