It seems most people want to carry on with PDC which is what people at the match were generally saying,

I guess that means that those with one opinion are gullible fools while the others are deep thinking and brave.

FROM CEST WHO HAS A MEMORY FAILURE
I watched my final game yesterday (although I didn't know it at the time) and won't be back to watch another **** up manager make an arsehole of the last few games. I've seen my fair share of ****ty decisions made by owners of this football club over the last 39 years and this rates as one of the very worst. History has proven that changing a manager with so few games to go never works and for me, this one has absolutely guaranteed Championship football next season. QPR, Reading and SAFC will be relegated this season. Put your house on it, especially with some on of the wallys mentioned to take over. If Di Mateo is appointed (the best of a load of ****e mentioned), will he really put his heart and soul into the rest of the campaign from his London home? Would anyone?

The timing of this is probably the worst I've ever known and if a change was to be made then January surely was the time. Why give MoN £10m to spend then sack him 8 weeks later?

If MoN cant change the fortunes of this club then I'm afraid no one ever will and for me, its time to bow out. I've had my fill of SAFC and their 70 years of **** ups.

I hope you fellas get the man you want but I get the distinct feeling that if the next manager doesn't make us Barcelona in 12 months you'll be calling him a clueless **** as well. I remain a loyal and passionate Sunderland fan but I have had it organising my life around it after 4 decades and will join the ever growing army of armchair fans. They won't be getting anymore of my money through the turnstiles for the near future.

I'll still go to some games when I fancy it but I'm not committing myself to the cause financially any longer.

Today is one of the saddest and most poignant days of my life following SAFC and a watershed moment. Today is the day the light went out for me and I am actually relieved its now over.

What a dark, sad and disastrous day this is

We are already in a relegation fight, whether or not we stivck with PDC is not our problem, if he goes we can't decide who the next manager will be, we can only hope that one way or another we can get out of this mire

<laugh> The testament of a weak man! Ha Ha! That's got everything, procrastination, it's hypocritical, undignified. How does he sleep at night with all those demons chipping away at his soul?

He's getting on my Tits mate. Negativity is one thing I don't like but accept apart from the odd failed rallying call. There are a lot negative posters on here who stick to the facts and thats fine, opinions and all. That numpty is continuously making things up, making assumptions, and casting aspersions. Then laying down like it's fact. Every Time someone proves him wrong or shows him up, he'll ignore the post or whine about how someone is trying stop his opinions. His opinions are based on fairy tale stories fashioned in his tiny little mind. His latest two arguments (or fact in his head) are that there's a drinking and smoking problem in sport which he failed to prove and that Paolo can't man manage in the premiership. Which is completely unfounded and he's somehow forged this view by arguing in his head. In two weeks he's gone from positive to anti-Paolo all on the demons arguing in his head. I think the bloke needs help.

its all based on the fact that he used to **** over oneil and told us all he was one of the greatest , i failed to see where he was coming from with that as it was based on a two team spl , which you or i could guide to the top.
Coupled with the biggest load of crap football the world has ever seen from him and that prick walford, his hero was sacked and ****ed off out of it with
a few games left , pdc saved us and is remodeling the shambles left behind, if we drop down so be it,the club is at last being run how a club should be,if pdc fails ,again so be it ,its the long term thing which is impressing me the most of all.
Its about time these pros are kept in line with club rules and such like, for too long the lack of good habits and conduct has been missing.
He can moan until the hole in his arse heals up , he just comes across as a bitter man because of oneils sacking.

    some you cant help

Why is there a band of Cest' bashers? A few threads now seem to be going this way. Disagree by all means but does this have to be done with constant swiping. I have both agreed and disagreed with Cest'. I try to get on with everyone.

    This.

I've generally agreed with Cest over the years, but FWIW I don't agree with his latest smoking/drinking is fine for the modern day footballer idea.

However, is there any need to call him "****er/he needs help/mutha ****a/WUM/etc."? It'll just lead to a huge row tomorrow and **** up the board.

Cest of course is the first to come out with strong ideas, but is there any need for constant pre-emptive swiping?

Not having a go at anyone, just it would be nice if discussions didn't get so personal so quickly.

Defend if him you like fella but he's guilty of unprovoked abuse himself.

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/228465-Alfie-in-limbo
He done it with many people but he's not worth trawling the forum to drag up his abuse.

He kicks mud in the face of our club constantly based on his own speculation and damn I'll defend our own football club from his mindless false potshots. He's a wum imo.

Not denying what you say for one second.

Just like many others I don't come on these forums to see top SAFC fans abusing each other, as I live abroad it's a lifeline for me to keep in touch with my club and its fans.

FWIW Bri, I have a very long, and very good memory (despite the brain cells destroyed by booze!), and I remember a certain Bri from Darlo who ages back apologised to Cest on the old606 (although there was no apology the other way) and bent over backwards to make amends (when really there was no movement from Cest). I don't understand why that hostility has returned after you were the one, mate, who really tried to end the bickering.

I took a wide berth of him then. Maybe I should follow my own advice. Thanks for reminding me off that. I can be a better man. Just need to bite my lip and avoid him. I'm very defensive when it comes to Sunderland. I don't mean to spoil people's fun, I just get so frustrated. Cheers fella. <ok> Rep.

There is no band or gang or clique .......... it's just that various people dislike his manner and tone.

He's constantly 'swiping' at people, lecturing everyone he sees as beneath him and talking as if he represents the board.

It should be him you're having a word with.

I'll always defend Sunderland when there are unreasonable and snide attacks ..... I don't just single him out and I always respond in kind.

He has a nasty sarcastic attitude so that's the kind of response he attracts, no real surprise is it?
