My mentions; Debuchy, thought he was pretty good, and Remy played nicely. Happy with the teamwork and performance. Still desperately disappointing to have an Ameobi come on, but that's upper-management failure, rather than Pardew's.

Credit to Pardew. He set us up to attack and we were a threat all day. He got his subs spot on.

Nice to see a bit of confidence returning to the players, and surprise surprise, the long ball disappears in favour of passing football. People go on and on about tactics and Pards being a long ball merchant, but its not as clear cut as that. If players are devoid of confidence it doesn't matter how much you batter "keep it on the deck" into them.

HBA was at his genial best today. I thought all the back four were good again, and Sissoko was excellent. No laziness today, really put a shift in. Cisse is the only one who still looks to be lacking that belief.

God, what a difference a win makes. Suddenly we're 2 points off top. Even if Liverpool win we'll be 2 points off second.

Hard to believe. Harder still to believe that it Gouf had scored from 2 yards we'd be joint top.

Crisis ? What Crisis ?

Def our best team we played today, lovely not to see Shola, shame seeing Sammy. When Villa's goal went in I feared the worse but fair ****ing play for sticking in there. Ben Arfa is essential to us. He really is a class act. We need to keep him at all costs.

Keep this team playing, no Jonas or Taylor be allowed to swan back into the team if you please.
