Board mods police their own boards but can only request bans
If they ask for an away fan to be banned .... that fan will be banned from that board
If they ask for a home fan to be banned .... then that becomes a site ban
Bans can be timed bans or permanent bans ..... but only a super mod owner can do the banning
Both of us super mods are lower league fans so don't have biases in the Prem Clubs disputes
When I was looking at why Tash was being banned I came across Billy's thread .... I wasn't impressed with anyone who wishes Aids on anyone .... I brought it to the attention of board mods for a discussion as to whether it was acceptable .... thought I maybe over reacting as a female
It was one of your own mods suggested the ban for Billy ..... hence a board ban

brb and poshminx now involved because they are the only ones to have banning powers, but they do not ban unless requested to by board mods. Even then, they sometimes refuse.
I think Billy was bang out of order, weather it justified the ban is not my decision to make, but as the standard has been set. Just wondering how Tash gets banned for wumming, Billy gets banned for bashing the welsh, and Monty calls our manager a Wop and strolls the forum posting to his hearts content. How's that right?

Very clear and I sincerely hope you are going to be consistent with that approach, I hope the Sunderland mods have the balls to ask you to be as severe on the NUFC fans like tash, who regularly come onto our board and spoil excellent threads with inane comments specifically designed to goad.
The Sunderland mods have set the bar it would be good if it could be maintained at this level.

Jerry ... I'm sorry I banned a good mate of yours .... but I have also had to ban a good mate of mine too in the past when he stepped out of line
If a weeks ban is thought to be too long a ban for his crime I would be happy to reduce it to 48 hrs .... as long as he realises what he said is unacceptable on this part of the forum. If he wishes to post that type of message I suggest he uses the General Chat area .... where it would be accepted
How the Mods choose to police the board is fine by me. If i **** up, serves me right. I understand in today's social setting they're under pressure to police the online space they are responsible for. There's been a real lack of dignity on here tonight and lot of it crossed the line but their needs to be consistency and I'm not seeing it regarding Monty.
