If she thought Billy was out of order - does that mean she then trawled all other posts on the board to find others that were?
Like I said what Billy said on his post were by no means the worst I've seen on here tonight - or any other time come to that

I don't like NMG's posts, but I would no more ban them than one of mine. As I have said before, it's only posters and posts that set out to be deliberately offensive (that's OFFENSIVE, not annoying) that get people banned.

You'd be amazed at the bleating that goes on when a mag posts something remotely anti-SAFC. Are they not allowed to take the piss? We take it right back, after all, quite often on their board.

Sid, if a post similar to tash's had been made on toon board it would have been gone in 30 seconds, yet on SAFC board it allowed to fester and be a general rallying point for all the sick toon fans to add their two penneth on to.

Albert your a canny lad, however their is a yawning chasm between how the two boards are modded and it is all one way traffic from toon village idiots coming onto the SAFC board and ruining good threads with what is effectively off topic spam.

Vislmeier Haack Reactionis one such cretin, posting stupid pictures of no value.

there isnt a thought process marra, its down to the public, like i said, my email box will ping and i'm onto a dispute between a undergound v overground game. mods cant do much mate, very very little, its good though, you'd enjoy it

In terms of how both boards are modded, I agree there is a massive difference. Each mod has their own views as we all, as a mod community so to speak respect that diversity. We average about one deleted (usually for cock length pills) and one closed thread per week, so whatever banned posters like Billy may try to make out isn't always true.
To my knowledge Billy was banned by me (threats of violence) and NMG was banned for repeated wum attempts (as would a GC wum). Outside of that we all seem to get along and have the minor moment or two beyond that.
Sonetimes you shouldn't believe eveything one individidual choses to say.

Bri FP, I agree Billy can be a bit hot headed at times but I've posted a lot worse and absolutely bugger all has been said. Has somebody on this board got it in for BD the way refs have for Cattermole.
Is Billy pm'ed/ e-mailed with the name of the person who requested he be banned etc.

I don't understand mate.

You've received complaints for both Billy and Monty yeah? So if they've both received complaints over similar a incident so why is one banned and the other isn't? Has the super mods deemed one bannable and one not? Some one must have deemed one more severe than the other somewhere along line? <confused>

I don't mind billy mate. I complained because it isn't appropriate. As I did with monty. But Personally I would have booted him off for night till he'd sobered up/cooled down. I think calls for bans may have come from the Arsenal board as Tash (prick) set him up good and proper.

Billy sets himself up. Tash didn't force him to make racist comments, the bloke has done it countless times before.

Sorry I thought I explained ...... I do not trawl boards looking for problems

What happens is that there is a thread on the mods board which is FAO Super-mods

Any mod who wants to request a ban or ask a question will post on there.

One of your mods asked for Tash to be banned from this board & gave us a link to his profile.

I went to look to see what Tash had done ..... ie I looked at his last few posts & this brought me to Billy's thread.

When I read it I considered it to be very iffy .... more to do with the Aids comment than anything else

If it had been on the Posh board I would have deleted the thread & banned the poster

However as I am fairly new to the Super-mod job ..... I posted it as a question on the mods board to see whether I was over-reacting or not

Once it was on there brb closed the thread & one of you mods suggested a ban

We hadn't decided on a time for the ban .... so it was me who decided a week ..... cos to be honest I was offended by the post & pissed off with the poster .... if this is felt to be too long I will reduce it .... but that will be decided on the mods board.

My biggest mistake tonight was telling your board what was going on which started everyone off on here

..... next time I will just ban & leave you in the dark wondering by someone has been banned :D
 
maybe didn't force Billy but certainly goaded him with a totally un-necessary post designed to wum & provoke.

That's not my issue mate. It's the fact another member has shown himself up with racist comments too yet can freely post. I'm questioning the consistency ultimately.

Tees, there has been a spike in activity on here, maybe there are threads you cant see? Maybe there are horrific posts you cant see? Maybe posters/members have reported posts you can no longer see? Get my drift?
