Just try to speak the language as much as you can, it doesn't matter if yo get it wrong, people will correct you and you'll get it right the next time. For the pronunciation, don't say H's, J's are a 'gggggghhh' sound, and ll is y. Those three are all the same throughout the whole language, a lot easier than in French for example, where everything is an exception to the rule!
I've been picking up a lot, even though we've only been here 36 hours, just looking at signs etc and knowing by sight what they mean, and memorising the words. Problem is with learning words, it ain't conversational, and that's where the troubles come! I'll get there mind, i've only been on with it a month, and it's a ****ing hard language, so progress is good enough for me!
Well, the main words you'll need will be 'cerveza', 'el estadio', y 'bebidas gratis'. All else should fall into place
